Then who? Be someone and not a goddamn lapdog and bring something other than nothing to the discussion. Xy put it out there. McDonough swindled half the goddamn league and they ed him for it.
Kind of like a 48 win no playoff season?![]()

Kind of like 6 last season, .
Only it wasn't inep ude that robbed this time, but woefully complete RC edness.
I didn't remember you being this big of a dummy - this a new corny common internet fan shtick?
Funny, could say the same toward you.
Agree w DPG, I don't remember you being this salty downstairs tbh.
I don't think I've ever seen anybody get so mad over the Executive of the Year Award, especially if their argument is that their 48 win lottery team was robbed.
Weird schtick if it is, but I admire the gusto tbh...
If the league were to create a Funnest Team Watching the Playoffs award in the next week and award it to the Suns, would that at least help mitigate some of this terrible injustice tbh?
always new, pointless arguments on ST.
It's not like RC hasn't been jobbed in this category in the recent past; the year that he acquired Leonard, alone - for crissakes, Larry Bird, who (in retrospect) got fleeced in that deal won the award that year - should have netted him the award, but didn't.
So if not now, then when should Buford get the award he has so richly deserved for so long? I don't think there can really be any doubt that Buford has deserved this award for a number of years.
At some point, overcoming all of the obstacles that should prevent the Spurs from being compe ive on a championship level in San Antonio (of all markets) for this long through the slow and steady process of building an organization deserves this type of recognition, even if it didn't occur as the result of a substantial turnaround or as the product of flashy moves.
*wasn't me*
Go your spurshole with RC thievin' award.
I'm not, nor have I ever been "that" Suns fan.
I've stated I get why Pops won over Hornacek.
This is bull , just as it was bull when RC lost previous.
The league can wipe all the bull from its ass with the ballots. That's about the only good they offer.
I admire the Spurs in many ways. But I'm gonna call bull bull and this was bull .
I can't wait until San Antonio wins "medical training staff of the year".
This gun b good.
Not in a year where he did almost nothing and others inherited goodman bottom-5 trainwrecks, put the train back together again, and if not for a 50-game injury derailment to a 20-5-5 starter, would have won the extra 2 games and been a 50-win playoff team.
If for no other reason, this season gave Hornacek and McDonough all the ammunition they needed to sell high to tank. And they didn't.
DPG and Mugen, ignoring the argument by focusing on JMark's aggression.
Trolling instead of debating.
Bringin' the bads.
You leave my Spurshole out of this.
What's there to argue, Xy? RC won because of his body of work over the course of his career, nobody's arguing that.
I guess it sucks as a Suns fan but this isn't the US getting their gold medal taken away in '72 tbh.
RC's been robbed probably 4-5 times. He usually gets F'd by some GM that makes a splashy FA signing, and then spends the next 4-5 years trying to dump the contract.
I had a Toronto fan trying to convince me that Ujiri deserved the award for the second straight year for dumping bad contracts. I told him that over the years, NO GM has done better at a) not getting into bad contracts and b) getting out of them when he did. Over the years they dumped Rasho, Malik, and Richard ing Jefferson.![]()
Every Spurs fan has literally said RC didn't deserve it for this year.I don't know what else you want us to do? Storm RC's house and take the award and then walk it to your front door?
He is being an idiot. Even if McDonough might have been a better choice, no one really wants to discuss it with him.
Suns fans acting like RC hipchecked a guy into the scorer's table and provoked dudes to leave the immediate vicinity of the bench resulting in the NBA imposing a playoff suspension that likely cost their team a series and a le.
Like that ever happened.
I laid out why McD deserved the award. I agree with you guys that RC deserved the award in the past, but this seems like a very strange year to give it to him, since all he did was keep a Finals team intact.
Suns fans worship at the foot of McD. We wanted to see our fearless leader get his recognition.
You're going after the wrong Suns fans, bruh. JMark and I know the Spurs were the better team in '07.
The Nets GM deserved it more than your guy.
I don't think anybody in Spurstalk had a vote. Maybe rascal?
So don't take it out on us.....I already conceded to JMarks that the Suns should win the Funnest Non-Playoff Team award and he told me to put that award in my "spurshole" so I'm not sure what else I can do tbh![]()
