Without them we get swept
Viva La Boris.
Indeed Bob Horry - like.
Without them we get swept
Boris the animal also hit a big jumper in game 4.
Several Boris Horry moments in Game 1 vs Portland.
24-12.
Parker drives from the side and gets stopped. Hits Borris at the free throw line. Boris takes a step and launches a tear drop from just inside the free throw line.
It clanks, but as it was in the air Boris raced past Sideshow Bob, sky'd for the rebound which he immediately (before landing) threw out to Parker wide open at the side arc.
Three pointer good.
27-12.
Several more i did not write down but ill look at the tape time allowing.
there is no Horry moment when a team leads by 12-15 points tbh
Bob didn't just win the games in clutch time.
He balled all game long and did the little things that attention players would not do.
Tipped ball for rebounds, tipped pass for steals.
ok, can we agree that these are Horry plays ... and the clutch ones are Horry moments?
Ill agree to that
mmmmm probably not
Ya. I wasn't trying to hijack the thread, rather noticing that Boris is making a LOT of cool plays ala Horry.
The difference between Horry and Diaw is that Diaw is hitting big shots, but they're uncontested. Robert Horry was cold-blooded because he drained 3's even when the defender was right up on him on his face. I do see a small resemblance with the big shots, but he's no Horry, that's for sure.
Too bad the Spurs missed out on Horry 2.0 in Danny Granger. He's really putting up clutch performances with his three points and two rebounds in 11mpg. Sucks we have to settle for Diaw.
Spur Killer to Spur . . .
Diaw = Horry.
Oops... he did it again.
He did hit that 3 but he gave 3 easy LMA buckets, Splitter came in and shut him down again
For whatever reason the refs have decided that Diaw on LMA was an automatic foul...
Meh, he can't do anything about the fact that he gives up 3-4 inches in height to Aldridge. He bodied Aldridge up and made him take fadeaway jumpers. It just so happens, Aldridge is good at that shot, a la Dirk.
Boris is balling tbqh...little things all game long, then big shots in clutch time. I don't think I've seen him be hesitant or indecisive on a single play in a very long time. He's a big factor in keeping the offensive rhythm flowing. Loving his game right now.
Boris was super aggressive tonight, several key rebounds and timely hook shots.
Bravo BDiddy
Boris is very Horry like with clutch shots and doing the little things. Frickin LOVE Boris. He is so damn fun to watch when he gets involved.
So in true
tbh
Boris has been the most underrated acquisition the Spurs have had since I've become a fan, he is literally the greatest system player I can imagine. His scoring ability still surprises me lol
