I don't even...
It seems like he has gotten worse to me, his offense is so bad that Carlisle quickly understood he could switch Calderon on him without any problem and he has been horrible in that Portland series... I mean there's zero reason to be afraid of going small for the opposite coach, it's like he's actually inviting it with these shameful performances...
When green, belli and kawhi are shooting 80% of course Tiagos offense will seem like it regressed dummy.
How little worth does one put on their time, that they feel content wasting it posting purposefully ty threads?
Yes Splitter, Manu, TP, Mills, Green, Mills are all scrubs. Tim is old, Diaw is fat, Kawhi can't defend and Pop is the most overrated coach in the history of coaching.
At least we have Baynes though. If only Pop would let him develop.
Splitter ting all over Baam
Baam desperate to find a reason to hate on Splitter
splitter has only been good offensively when Manu is there to feed him the pass. And that can only happen when Manu is having a good game, so that after a pick and roll, both the guard and the bigman doubles manu. Thats the only way for splitter to score. and both Game 1 and 2 Manu wasnt good
Tiago is the only player who gets away with playing only one side of the court but against the elite teams it won't cut it, just addressing the elephant in the room... I see the same old Tiago that was the worst player of the Finals... I don't get the hype...
Yeah he's really improved his low post game, it's impressive, can't wait to see him try to backup Derek Fisher again...
And you probably never will you stupid bas
How about this : Think of Dirk raping Boris and upsetting us this year if we don't have Splitter, with Mark Cuban celebrating in our faces... Think of 2011 Memphis destroying us on the post and compare to the sweep last year with Splitter manhandling Zbo and Gasol.. RE
To me, anything he does these playoffs is totally irrelevant unless he can produce against MIA/OKC
Pretty stupid way of thinking. If he can be MVP in the 1st 2 rounds and have a decent 3rd round he already earned his pay heck.
not his fault he is unusable vs Miami's lineups
I agree. While we're at it I think its time to turn our attention to the massive elephant in the room: Tony Parker is by far the worst PG in the playoffs.
]Ahem.
I was just looking up Tiago's stats today.
His Orating in this playoffs is 135.
Now, shut this ing thread down.
Baam... What's happened to you?![]()
I know I shouldn't have started this thread but I just couldn't help myself tbh...
Dallas, Portland, and Clippers are good matchups for Splitter. OKC and Mia are not because small ball will make him irrelevant. I'm not going to say his offense is worse than it use to be but not much better. In other words OKC can still shut him down with Derrick Fisher if need be.
It's not his fault he can't post against Mike Miller and Shane Battier? That right there was a HUGE reason we lost, Splitter fails to take advantage of the offensive match ups, it allows the defense to totally take advantage without being penalized on the offensive end.
The Spurs could easily take the team in another direction getting rid of Splitter via trade or whatever. Maybe acquire an athletic big and a defensive guard so we stop getting destroyed by Jackson, Westbrook, Fisher etc.
The Spurs may struggle getting out of the first 2 rounds more, however they'll be much better equipped to beat the true compe ion.
If you're tailoring your team to beat teams like Dallas and Portland you shouldn't be thinking about a le. This team has talent, it's loaded with it.
I always liked Orson Welles in that regard.
You gotta admit, this really does seem like Green from last year right now.
