When will these fools here realize we would've got bounced in 5-6 games by Dallas if it wasn't for Manu?
i agree! All of the haters can't wait to bring up any mistake Manu makes but he is the heart and soul of this team! He was 2nd in scoring tonight and if it wasn't for his pass to Kawhi who made that 3 and then his 3 that nailed the dagger into the Blazers after they got it down to 8! There is nothing but haters! Parker was off tonight especially in the first half so the bench kept them in this game (Manu, Kawhi, Green, Belli, Patty, Splitter, Borist)! Shameful jackasses that don't appreciate Manu and you are right we wouldn't be in the semifinals if not for Manu in the Dallas series! I am so sick and tired of these haters! They should all be banned!

We won. Whats the problem? His performance obviously wasn't bad enough to lose the game.

This is complaining just for the sake of complaining guys.

Manu was essential for us in the Dallas series taking a lot of shots and making them.

I donīt have a problem for him taking these amount of shots, we are playing at a high pace and there are a lot of shots to be taken, most of them seemed in rhythm or out of a broken play. I have no problem with neither. Is not that he was forcing things like game 1.

Too bad they called that offensive foul that could have been an and-1, was really great and at that point would have been devastating for Portland.

    Manu was... bad

he is like a SPurstalk poster, sees Blazers make a few basket and come back in the game and all of a sudden he panics smh
7-18 FG, 2-4 3pt, 5 Rebs., 4 Assists, 3 Steals, +11, 16 pts. He had 4 turnovers (one of those should have been on Diaw throwing a terrible pass that neither Parker or Manu could handle.)

is this dude the biggest on this site? Unless Kawhi gets the ball 100 times he'll always find a reason to cry and moan.

1:05 Wesley Matthews bad pass (Manu Ginobili steals) 49-65
1:01 49-65 Manu Ginobili bad pass (Nicolas Batum steals)

7:20 Nicolas Batum lost ball turnover (Manu Ginobili steals) 59-79
7:13 59-79 Manu Ginobili possession lost ball turnover

Steals aren't so useful when you immediately turn the ball over...
That's the point... You rather have steal-TO, than just TO... preferably, you wouldn't want any TO, but turnovers are part of the game and going to happen.

Shh, don't let everyone know they don't watch the games.
Manu intercepted the inbound pass, drove to the rim and dribbled it off his own foot. But whatever you say to sound smart...

So because the guy has heart we are supposed to give a pass when he makes monumental f-ups even a high school player knows to avoid?

    Yeah, that makes sense.

With the new old Manu they sure are. Guy just can't play under control.

Get get a freebie (a great steal by Manu) and immediately toss it cross-court to the other team. Just stupid. Stupid stupid stupid. Treat it like an inbounds pass. I mean, do you regularly throw the ball halfway across and down the court on the inbound? No. So why do it on a steal when time after time you get intercepted?

Dumb dumb dumb. Lack of discipline and dumb. Sloppy play won't get us past Miami.

Idiots out there on this site! Manu, Tiago, Green, Tony, Tim, Belli, Mills, and Leonard are all doing great, as well as Pop.
If they weren't, the Spurs would have gone fishing long before now.
Just blind idiotic ignorant criticisms plus being bandwagon Spur fans IMHO.
Just watch the games for a change, quit wishing for those people to do badly, and stfu.

Yeah right, shut the up, that's exactly what people are supposed to be doing on a discussion board.

I'm glad Manu is having all those steals, I just wish he'd treat them as another full possession with 24 seconds to burn instead of fast-break opportunities.

I agree with what you say too.
Who I am referring to are those blind ignorant trolls on here who have certain easily recognizable agendas on this site against certain Spur personnel.

Good guess, but incorrect. Manu stole the ball, it ended up in Parker's hands as they both went for the loose ball. When Parker began to dribble, he dribbled it off of Manu's foot who was obviously close to him. Turnover credited to Manu sice it went off his foot, but it was PArker who dribbled it.

In fairness, he's encouraged to play like that, it's largely how we built our 20pt lead in the 1st half in Game 2. Steal, (risky) pass to Beli, and1. Run in transition, (risky) pass to Boris, and1.

Then at the end, flop, penetration, (risky) pass to Kawhi, dagger from the corner. He's a high-risk, high-reward player. If you enjoy the successes, then you have to accept the mistakes.

We just become too predictable offensively otherwise. As Pop said, he makes stuff happen.

Not saying he doesn't make you feel like you're playing with a loaded weapon sometimes, but at this point you have to hope the successes outweigh the mistakes and move on.
