Barkley is jesting most of the time. But c'mon, SA has a lot of big women, and people in general. $8-10 for plate of Tex-Mex food that is 3x serving size you get from other restaurants has a lot to do with it.
Barkley's prediction are his to make. He admitted he was wrong. We all make mistakes and Barkley is no difference. He still is my favorite NBA commentator.

Barkley gives Pop, Duncan, Manu and now Parker lots of respect. Yeah, he picked against us, but man he's entertaining. In fact, wrong or right, I enjoy him much more than Skip Bayless who has predicted Spurs will win it all. Chuck is just funny, Skip is just annoying even if he is picking my team.

Yea it appears that all the hot girls headed to the North/Northwest part of town. The weird thing about San Antonio since I moved back is it is sort of Feast or Famine(Literally). You either get the really hot chick that works out like crazy or the chick Barkley is talking about, not really a lot of in between anymore.
Agree, even he loves Leonard and said "Kiwi" is a top 10-15 player in the NBA...we can start laughing when we hear Barkley says things like this, but he doesn't hate the Spurs.
The thin girl trend has definitely died down in SA. Don't get me wrong, I like the women with curves, but curvy and fat are not the same, girls need to realize that simply.
Anyway, girls being overweight isn't just a cosmetic issue, it's very much a health problem as well.
I don't know if the Spurs have an extension of NBA/FIT health and nutrition program, but it could be nice, helping children develop a taste for nutritious foods and not only fast food.

kenny smith called out barkley and told him (in a diplomatic way) that he's assuming players are worthless when they are older because sir charles is basically comparing those players to what he was like when he was older. basically-just because you were lazy, fat and couldn't play defense when you were older doesn't mean everyone else is. charles-in typical fashion-ignored the point or failed to comprehend because then he went over some stupid rant about how he was surprised the spurs bench has been so good and splitter's defense on aldridge has been a surprise. does this guy even watch the games?
If Shaq wasn't on InsidetheNBA, you wouldn't hear as much about the big women in San Antonio.
