Well he's not wrong, as it's been pointed out by many here. Magic is a fat, black, gay guy that has aids. Not much to look up to there.
Donald Sterling, the Los Angeles Clippers owner who has been banned for life from the NBA, had a lot to say in his interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper. As well as sort-of apologizing for the racist remarks made in a private conversation and released to the public by TMZ, he criticized Magic Johnson, via CNN:
Sterling told CNN he's spoken twice with Johnson.
"Did you apologize to him?" Cooper asked.
"If I said anything wrong, I'm sorry," Sterling said. "He's a good person. I mean, what am I going to say? Has he done everything he can do to help minorities? I don't think so. But I'll say it, he's great. But I don't think he's a good example for the children of Los Angeles."
Johnson, who was specifically mentioned by Sterling in the original leaked recording, has been vocal about Sterling since. He has repeatedly said that Sterling should sell the team, and that players won't accept S y Sterling as an owner, either.
It is unclear exactly why Donald Sterling thinks that Johnson hasn't done enough for minorities or is a bad example for children.
The interview will air Monday at 8 p.m. ET on CNN.

Won't offer a penny to ripped off people who paid his fellow minority and teamate to boot at Michigan State, instead lets Jay Vincent go to jail (while simultaneously trying to manipulate the judge to let Vincent off with a no-payment-yet-no-jail-time offer.) Translation. Won't spend a penny of his own 500 million but want's the taxpayers to take all risk. Vincent goes to prison.
Cost to pay back ripped off people? (Many of whom no doubt are minorities) Approx 1 million.
Why doesn't Magic offer to pay them back?

Popcorn aside, the dude is human and no human should be idolized. I mean, in his case (and on a normal, biased state...) dude was married and ed around like it was no one's business. Whether that was with or pussy it doesn't bode well to idolize infidelity. That led to his contraction of the HIV virus and later the subsequent development of AIDS. He has been a boon to minorities with his TGIF. Fatburgers, and Movie Theatres in the Inglewood-South L.A.-Compton areas but TGIF and Fatburgers contribute to the obesity rate. He is a great businessman but to idolize him is a disservice for the attainable. I don't eat movie popcorn though because them kernels always be getting stuck in my teeth.

Damn right. My Mavs won it all. My Mavs eliminated both the Lakers and Heat. The Spurs did not make it to the 2nd round. My Mavs will always be the first. Superfriends can only go for the 3peat because of my Mavs. The Spurs had the chance to dethrone the Heat and make them just the 3 time defending east champs but they blew it. I think 2014 is for the Spurs is their version of the Mavs 2011. Trying to get redemption from past failure in the Finals.

Like I said; don't idolize any human. That whole white thing (which I'm not white...) is not just indicative about white folk. It's for all races. My mom can pretty much have any dude she wants. My pops passed away a longgggg time ago. What Sterling is doing here is attempting to deflect attention away from the truth that he is pretty much in the throes of dementia and is and always will be a racist human being. I'm saying there are no such thing as idols.
I think in a subtle way Sterling may be implying that he has the goods on Magic's gotry...I think this domino effect will reach Tammy as well..Spur fan better hope that Sterling keeps quiet...
