Why are the announcers on the national broadcast acting like being up to is some sort of huge victory for the blazers?
Because they've been terrible this whole series.

I love how Lillard crowed after his dunk, then gave up the wide open J to Patty.

I agree. Tim has been rather underwhelming. Looks 50 years old out there.
Kenny looks like he's about 80.

Chuck with the truth bombs, stick a fork in Portland!

Yup, the difference in someone who NEEDS the crowd, vs someone who just focuses on winning. He will learn.

Spurs are going to have to make shots... bottom line... even if they make a run, refs will keep this close, IMO

That is something Lebron learned after losing against Dallas.

Spurs offense has been absolute in 3rd qtrs this series. Lets hope we can at least keep it close going into the 4th.

Kawhi also pretty inefficient by his standards... 3-8... although I prefer he remains aggressive...
Thats encouraging to be just at 2 with Tim and Manu playing poorly and Kawi playing just ok

i think Parker had a solid 1st not playing a lot of minutes. Boris beli tiago doing good

i like spurs chance to steal dat one

Refs weren't the issue, rebounding was. Rebounding is an effort stat and the Spurs didn't show much as evidenced by POR getting every 50/50 ball tbh.

Since TD has been a Spur, they've come out and the 3rd quarters away tbh...

I was thinking the crowd was going 'WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!' He probably needs to watch that film....and learn.

I said it early on, Spurs should be in every game due to their offense consistently getting good looks. Even if they miss some (like they did in the first half) they get enough good looks and play good enough defense initially to prevent a huge blowout.

Only way the Spurs don't have a chance is if 3 of the following 4 happen (or all):

    1) Lot's of TO's - especially if they don't force as many as they give up.

    2) Lot's of offensive rebounds - especially if they stop getting those themselves this series.

    3) They miss a lot of shots, good or bad.

    4) They foul too much.

They can really survive 2 of the 4 and still be in the game. If they only have 1 of the 4 happen, it's basically guaranteed they have a legit shot to win. It's all about not giving POR too many extra possessions.

the Spurs won't have it easy if they lose this one... what pisses me off it's like it feels that they're not trying hard enough tbh
