Why in the world is Chris Paul contesting Russell Westbrook on a 3 point shot? I mean seriously why? That's there shot you want him to take.
You really think they are that 'bad' and the NBA office is playing them despite that? No, something with which they have that much control over is deliberate.
Well people acknowledge makeup calls and star treatment and don't think that is demonstrative of official and league misconduct too.
The best argument I have heard yet is that if it was that rife then someone would have come forward already to expose them as if Donaghy has not done just that.

Suspended? They're probably getting a raise for a job well done![]()
I thought Paul clearly held his hands up on the shot contest and actually held them backwards behind his body so nobody could mistake that for a foul. There were several inches of space between his and Russel's arms. It's simply atrocious that any ref would even consider blowing his whistle in that situation. Swallow that and let the players decide the game (unless there is a decisive, clear foul).
It's hilarious how people will watch players get hacked at the end of a playoff game and say "You're not going to get that call at the end of a playoff game" - and then, in the next breath, the same people will look at this game and say "A foul is a foul, dur!" Well which is it heads? You can't have it both ways.

3. Referee crew chief Tony Brothers has some explaining to do beyond the controversial out-of-bounds play. Brothers, the official who ruled that the ball went off Matt Barnes even though replays appeared to indicate Jackson touched it last, explained in a statement that the replays were inconclusive, forcing him to go with his original call. A bigger hullabaloo could involve Brothers being observed hugging Thunder star Kevin Durant’s mother, Wanda Pratt, before the game. Even if it was intended as a friendly, innocuous gesture, it raised the specter of favoritism toward the Thunder. Such interaction between an official and any friend or relative of a player should be strictly forbidden by the league.

When Bosh molested Danny Green in the finals - it is not a foul - the refs and the league don't want a questionable contact foul to decide an important game.
Last night....
It was time to decide the game on the free throw line.

Damn dude watching you trying to talk basketball is worst than watching your endless emoticons. The outta here, prison guard.
If you listen to Steve Kerr last night, we was pretty much calling out all this bs.
so basically your tireless arguments about which players/teams are good enough to win are complete horse ? k
I haven't made any such arguments... Philo
you have argued that stephen curry isn't good enough to be a #1 on a championship team. but of course, if its WWE and its pre-decided, i guess anybody would be good enough to be the #1 on a championship team
Curry isn't good enough to be the best player on a championship team. It is staged but even the WWE didn't make Jimmy Hart a heavy weight champ.
so are you saying you have made such arguments?
You're equivocating falsely again Philito... Saying Curry cannot be the best player on a championship team isn't the same as saying a player/team isn't good enough to win.
from a previous thread...
and your direct reponse to this post

DMC living rent-free in Philo's head, tbh....
he's my sparring partner on this site![]()
If you took that weak into a courtroom you'd be disbarred.
if you're going to claim its all WWE and scripted, it would make arguments on who is/isn't good enough to win fruitless, including your conversations about the Curry-led warriors. for all we know, the league could script them to win next year
Exactly! I was thinking the same thing. If Bosh didn't foul Green, how the can anyone think Paul fouled Westbrick?
You've already moved the goalposts and didn't even acknowledge doing it. Don't now try to recover without first acknowledging that I never made the argument you accused me of making. After you admit that, we can move forward.
Your problem is that you take more from a sentence than what it actually says, and you basically build a strawman and attack it. Once you can admit that you were wrong in this thread, we can address your refocused thrust.
