I like manu always have what I don't understand is how for a seemingly fairly smart guy he doesn't understand and adjust on nights when he isn't physically all there. I get the desire to push through and be compe ive but sometimes you just have to realize you can't do certain things you used to do most nights every day, adjust and play with in yourself. I'm not saying don't carry the load if you need to from time to time but most guys when they reach their 30s realize that if you got someone that can handle stuff you should save your energy for when its important. Manu doesn't which is kinda infuriating.

He was as bad on offense as game 4, but at least he played defense and didn't allow stupid 3s or four-point plays. If he had the same defensive performance we would be talking about game 6 in Portland right now

He's been having a great season so far... I'm so glad he'll be one of the leaders of this team for another year. PATFO with another underrated move with that extension, tbh...

Manu is still an important cog to the Spur machine, even in a resounding victory some of you are still nitpicking, like El Nono stated, he almost single handedly got us through the first round
I agree with Pound the Rock. Pick on Ginobli all you want.......but let me tell you this! I saw ALOT of poor ball handling, turnovers and missed baskets from ALL THE SPURS players. They DID NOT play like they did in games 1 - 3! To blame it all on Ginobili is ridiculous!

Ah, bs. Manu single-handedly put the Blazers back in it. Hence the reason I posted this thread AS IT WAS HAPPENING.

Spurs are playing 10 minutes in the 3rd quarter with no turnovers until Manu stepped in..

And Manu created 2 turnovers straight away.

Not bashing Manu, but that is a fact..

I get it. Pointing out the fact that Manu is an asset to opposing teams is so obvious that it's akin to saying "water is wet." Good one

    Still to all you haters.

Without Ginobili we are not here today, you would be seing Mark Cuban cheering for his mavs against Portland.

The one you hate was the best player in the most difficult round we played this playoffs, against the best defensive team we played this playoffs.

Portland was no better than Dallas in any way, nor offense, nor defense.

So as of now, Ginobili has bailed all of you out in the most difficult series we had.

    Deal with it.

You think you would have found a player that could have averaged 17.7 ppg, 4.6 apg, 3.1 rpg, 2.3 spg, 45.0 FG% (36 for 80), 37.8 3-pt% (14 for 37) for 7 millions over a seven game series.

Good for you, call me back when you are GM of and NBA franchise

Yeah, right. When the guy struggles and wrecks the team just leave him in because he has been to-so in the past. Good plan. Don't expect him to adjust his game. Let him continue to make bad decisions and take terrible shots. Brilliant.

You probably cry about Lakers fans living in the past, but you're here with your re ed way of thinking... Just because he had a good series he's immune to criticism right now when he's played like for a whole series?

The bench always plays better when Danny Green comes in for Ginobili... Everyone touches the ball, and our bigs actually get to rebound misses off the rim. Manu lost his way a month ago. He's trying to be the hero instead of doing what he was successful in... Creating for others on simple passes
