"Appropriate fear" shouldn't be a problem.
I'm pretty pumped for this tbh.

It seems to me that they usually beat us with intensity and physicality. Spurs players need to make quick decesive moves on offense, use Thunder's aggressiveness against them with some backdoor action and match them on the intensity level. And of course play with balls and the belief that they are the better team, which they are.
It should be a great series. The Thunder are gonna have to up their game from the first two rounds to hang with the Spurs tbh. San Antonio can replicate a lot of the defensive schemes that Memphis employed in the first round (maybe not the friendly whistles) + exploit the same areas that the Clippers did offensively.....
Then again, OKC always ups their game when the play the Spurs so it's a tough to call.
I have faith in the Spurs to pull out a very, very tough series tbh......
The Spurs need an old fashioned hatchet man in this series to go after Westbrook.
Strangely enough, the only candidate I can think of is Patty Mills. Even stranger, I think he could do it.
need to pack the paint when they drive...I would rather have westbrook chuck then drive. another problem i saw was the Clippers kept picking him up beyond half court and he drove right down putting the defense on its heels..I like what Kawhi and Splitter are doing this year in the POs...Our series will come down to bench production..Manu needs to be better with the ball and patty/belinelli need to shoot lights out..I dont see the Spurs making the same mistakes as the Clippers when it comes to less than 3-4 minutes of a game..with that said, this series goes 6 games, Spurs! I just think that winning game 6 on their court would be fulfilling
Lol a Heat-Thunder Finals will pull better ratings, it's easy to market, and in the end the league still gets to crown LeBron again.
Westbrook and Durant are going to get theirs. It's going to be about limiting those other turds like Sefalosha, Jackson, Butler, Fisher, Adams, Ibaka, etc. And we have to take care of the ball. That team thrives off of turnovers. Gotta keep it clean and be efficient offensively and I think we can win it. Oh and not getting jewed by the refs too badly would be nice for once.
Waiting on Ibaka injury update.
Id gladly sit out parker if they sat out Ibaka
Realistically, Spurs in 7......Anything else would be uncivilized!
Thank god you're not the coach, then.
32 years young today. Happy Birthday, Tony!
Happy birthday to Tony!
HBD, TP!! Hope you really get over that strain before you come back. Remember last year you had a strain as bad as Ibaka's is this year and youcame back and played well for one game but then couldn't recover enough. How about recovering in full this time before coming back? We need you at full strength, man!!
BTW, you proved your studliness by coming back on a grade 2 strain whereas Ibaka is out for the rest of the playoffs. No need to prove it again, tbh.
Too nervous to watch. Gonna out and probably just check out the score after.
