Bring back Del Negro.
Disregard any Sterling implications... what would you do to improve the team?
What can you do? There's no good reason for their failures.
Remove the $107 million choker point guard who will never get past the second round of the playoffs....
While Barnes had a good series, he's getting old and they need an upgrade at the wings... Granger is who we thought he was... they also are lacking a good SG/backup PG...
I think their bigs rotation is ok...
- Add Paul Pierce as starting SF
- Add a 3rd big
- Get a new coach and star PG
Perform CPR on that choking got Chris Paul.
They need good starting wings. Barnes and Red have no bussiness being starters on a wannabe contender.
Pierce will turn into the next Outlaw/Gomes/Butler/Dudley/insert useless Clippers SF of the past decade here as soon as he arrives, tbh....
They're winning the LA championship. I think they're right where they wanna be.
They really do need to trade Paul. Maybe they can get Jannero Pargo.
Could be worse, we could be stuck with Harden and McFail for the foreseeable future![]()
At least they didn't trade a first round pick for McHale![]()
- White coach
- backup centers to keep their starters out of foul trouble
- more billy crystals and less bandwagonners
- a defensive SF
Or get Kevin Durant
And Jannero Pargo.
They need to go after Ariza at SF and draft a PF/C with their 1st.
Paul/Collison
Re /Crawford
Ariza/Dudley
Griffin/Barnes or Davis
Jordan/1st
Might have to trade Dudley to clear CAP for Ariza.
Along with a future 1st, Phoenix will take him back!
And we're not paying Lin $14 million next year....
Rocketfan has zero room to talk , tbh....
They don't get consistent offensive production from the wings and from their 5. DeAndre Jordan was useless in this series and he's pretty much counted on to be a no-show most of the times. CP3 is ok but perhaps he isn't as elite as many in the L.A. media make him out to be. But that shouldn't mean you can't put the pieces around him to help him out. As much as it is exciting to see Jordan Crawford chuck 80 ft rainbows in transition, he is a statute of inconsistency and mediocrity. You either feast or you famine with him and that doesn't help the bench. Red and Collison are good bench players and I'm not sure why Blake isn't dominating as much as he should be. I think he is limited in his offensive game or maybe he takes sooo much punishment that he wears down. The whole Sterling incident took a mental toll as well. I think if they had won game 5, they would be headed to San Antonio. The basketball IQ of this team is questionable. It isn't a smart team and that may mean they need to part ways with Barnes, Jordan, Davis and the like.
SG/SF position with good defense.
I think Collison is good enough for a backup PG.
Practice FTs.
they should just blow that up
CP3 and Blake are good players, but not great and not good enough to win a ring as a big 2
their 3rd best player is miles away from CP3 or Blake and its not like they play great D to make up for it. on the contrary...they did move the ball fairly well though, compared to last years embarassing performance against memphis
A younger, more versatile SF is really one of the only pieces they need, among a few other pickups at the reserve positions. They were very good this year and I like the Paul/Griffin combination for them going forward the next 4-5 years.
Ariza would be an excellent pickup at the position but they need to get a younger player to fill that void.
Chris Paul gets a lot of flak, but honestly, he's a superstar in a league that is run by them. Not like you can get many stars at that position like they grow on trees. Paul has made mistakes this postseason but to pin the blame on him single-handedly is foolish, the Clips would be much worse without Paul.
And Blake Griffin is a beast, he just keeps getting better.
Clips have a good future I think, certainly more bright than the Lakers in that area.
