I'm not worried about OKC.The Spurs and Miami will win these two series. I think the bball gods have arranged for this rematch ever since last June.

This will be the highest rated Finals in recent history.

This time, the Spurs will prevail..

Another sign that this will be a 100% lock matchup :

Miami became the first team in history to win a post season series against a team that had swept them in the regular season. Previously teams were 25-0 in winning a series against a team who they had beaten 4-0 is reg season

Spurs will be the 2nd team to do this.

Weren't you the one ing at someone else to "not count our eggs before they hatch" when he assumed that OKC would make it to the WCF as the spurs oppoonent

I think if you polled every Spurs fan, given the choice between playing a Pacers team or a Heat team, even though, Spurs would have almost a lock win against the Pacers, most fans would still want to play the Heat.

It would seriously make a great sports story, almost the equivalent of the movie Hoosiers, as far as having a fairytale occurrence

All I can look at is the 0-4 season record and the 2-10 record over the last two seasons. Post-Harden seasons. That and the fact that the league has now been given the two conference finals series it wanted all along, and they can still put Durant back into the Finals to start billing up that KD-LBJ rematch. Sure, a Spurs-Heat rematch sounds sexy to us, and perhaps to those casual fans who really enjoyed last season's thrilling series, but the NBA stands to do a lot better with OKC in the Finals. The Spurs will have to play flawlessly.

Spurs would beat Miami in 6-7 games, OKC would lose 4-1

Probably. But they'd still get good ratings. That's a safer bet than SA-Miami going 6 or 7.

This is truly fate. The last two months I've been hoping that Ibaka would somehow miss the series when Spurs and Thunder meet. I felt that he was the wild card that always hurts the Spurs. I was feeling confident yesterday, but now because I got my wish of playing OKC without Ibaka, I am 100% sure Spurs are on an collision course with The Heat.

Eh....it's too early for this thread. Granted if we win the first 2 games in this series, then this thread will be more fitting.

Even then, we can't possibly feel comfortable with a 2-0 lead after what happened in 2012. I won't feel comfortable unless it's 3-0.
