It's a lost cause. I think regular season averages are something like .35 FTA/FGA for OKC (best in the league), and .247 FTA/FGA for the Spurs (worst in the league). That disparity always grows when the Spurs and OKC play each other.
Objectively we're only like 3-5 points better than OKC. Ref-help easily covers that spread.
The Curse
I fear that the 10 + FTs for Durant and co will be enough again but I hope Im wrong
And OKC starts each quarter in the bonus.
Last year I thought LeBron was going to foul KL out every game but KL did a great job of playing defense with his feet as opposed to swiping with his hands. I expect KL to have foul trouble in maybe 1-2 games. I think OKC will shoot more free throws but I do not think it will matter. I expect Danny, KL and Mills will be major players in the series. Major players who were not so much two years ago when they beat us. Spurs in 6.

Leonard is starting to build his reputation as an elite defender which will give him more room to operate against the refs. However, he will still be guarding the most ref-coddled player in the league. The Game 5 debacle was a blessing for us though, everyone will be watching the officiating for OKC from here on out under a microscope. Let's hope the league realizes this and the refs won't call such bs fouls.
I hate being that complaining about the officials but every single unbiased fan of any team can agree that OKC gets favored and are the recipients of so many bogus calls
