Not necessary (I hope).
He's been even worse in the playoffs, at 40% (although it's only been 10 FTA)...
With Abaka going down, he's likely to get some solid minutes out there... would Hack-A-Adams be a good strategy as a momentum killer?
Absolutely, and I wouldn't be shocked if Pop employs it. He's not much of a threat offensively but he can beast on defense if given the chance. Turn him into a liability and force Brooks to shorten his rotations even further.
Adams can alter and block shots like Ibaka.
He needs to be taken out asap.
Hes definitely a wild card in this series for the Thunder. Reminds me of a bigger Najera whos main purpose in his NBA career it seems like is to get under the skin of opposing players and play a really physical style of basketball. Whats mind boggling though is how he gets away with it. Hes not as dumb as he looks. He knows how to get away with that physical style of play.
Hacking him could probably get into his head a little bit, especially if he starts missing free throws. I would just try to get him into foul trouble though. No playoff experience should do him in.
Not afraid of Adams at all
Shouldn't even matter. Thunder without Ibaka have 3 players that can score double digits. Spurs have 9. Westbrook, Durant, and Jackson could all score 30 a game and they'd still have to find 20 points from fisher, butler, and ???
Welcome back.
Haven't seen you disuss and actual basketball in months, only stupid trolling.
Why a poster of your knowlege level lowers himself to such a level, I'll never know.
And yes: fouling Adams would be a great momemtum killer.
You want freebies so bad, hmm, RefKC?
Then have some!!
With your worst free throw shooter.
LOL a scrub like Adams in Spursfan's head![]()
Not sure what do you mean, I'm only here to talk basketball.
I'm afraid of who he might take out.
You can bet Pop is already well aware of this information.
Adams is an inexperienced rookie.. Duncan can have him in foul trouble every game this series with his bag of trick if he wants.... OKC better be smart enough to match him up with Splitter or start Collison..
he killed the clippers last night
truth torpedo
they did that to Splitter in 2012 in game 2, as early as the 2nd quarter if i remember correctly, was a giant momentum killer for the spurs even though they won the game. Win with grace, win ugly, win whatever way you want, Just Win Baby
Not boring hack a player tactics. Spurs are boring.
Yes do it, punishes the thunder for being in the bonus, and payback for pulling that in 2012
Just texted Boylen, just in case, tbh
The good thing about using the Hack tactic against OKC is you get an opportunity every quarter as they are usually in the penalty at the 5 minute mark, tbh![]()
Posting the same thing over 7000 times is boring.
Yep...him and Perkins are goons. Like I mentioned in another thread, I can almost guarantee there will be some stupid double technicals given due to events instigated by Adams or Perkins.
* hey Matt! Get in there and check Adams would ya?*
