Im pretty sure he based the character off of Patrick Ewing. not sure if tim was even in the league when that came out.

I know Hanamichi was based off Rodman, but you might be right. Maybe its D-Rob instead?

i know this isn't anime but it's spurs related... i just started experimenting with oils for the first time and this piece is my first real try. 1.5hrs so far and started right after game7 of round1.

hope yall like it and i hope to do more of the same in the future, as well as finish this one. no sketching, no nothing but oil to canvas.



any oil painters here on ST? i sure could use some tricks and tips.

I painted when I was a kid, haven't done it in a long time, hoping to pick it up once again. My only critique would be the eyes, as you know that is where it all begins, aside from that great job for only being 1.5 hours in.
