Tbh, I don't cheer for injuries, but I don't feel bad at all about Ibaka, because it's just karma for all the cheapshots he's doled out without punishment....
Another year of not having their big 3 healthy in the playoffs. I actually believe they could've beaten the Spurs if healthy. Ibaka was the key shotblocker for OKC to advance. San Antonio would have to go small to take Ibaka away from the basket. Without Ibaka, Spurs in 5.

Blake Griffin is a little . Flopping, whining, cheap shots, and etc. I'm glad they took down the Clippers.
Good thing okc choked game 4, else series woulda ended in 5 and ibaka would have been healthy. Had the thunder won the regular season championship everybody likes to mock, they would have blitzed through dallas and Portland unscathed
I think the impact on OKC caused by absence of Ibaka is a bit overrated. Chuck and the Servant are the real deals for OKC. As long as the 2 mother ers are still playing they'll always pose a danger tbh.
They will, but Ibaka was of particular importance in a series against the Spurs
They can still win if Durant and Westbrook have good series and Parker goes in the ter, which isn't exactly out of the realm of imagination. But it definitely hurts them badly. If the aforementioned happened with Ibaka there it's a 4 or 5 game series win, while now their best case is taking it in 6 I think. Injuries happen though. Ginobili's injury in 08 completely ed the Spurs against the Lakers in the WCF, Duncan's injury in 2000 let them get beat by Kidd and Hardaway, Robinson's back really hurt them against LA in 02 (though I don't think that would have been a winnable series even with a healthy DRob), and so on.
I think OKC will miss spear chucker more on the defensive end then on offense, AND nothing scares the piss out of Spurs's players more than a shot blocking monkey baller.
Besides whistles you mean?
That perfectly sums up the MethKC team you're rooting for....
At least Kevin Durant is a good guy. Much easier rooting for him than Griffin or Paul.
No one cares about Serge Ibaka. He is a nonfactor. I haven't even heard of the guy until now.
kd is a
A to guard. Just like prime Dirk.
Yup, even TOSB Dirk is a whinny
It's terrible how the refs treat him. I don't blame him for being angry.
Cartoon Tammy looks juiced up.
In a fairly officiated series you mean. And it would be Spurs in 4 or 5.
But in Stern and Silver's league,
where Durant and Westchuck outshoot entire teams from the line,
in consecutive games to "beat" other teams,
RefKC can close this thing out in 3 if the the league wants it.
Refs and freebies for the win.
Per par.
A fan of a team with Flopobili on it shouldn't be complaining about the refs. The good teams know how to sell calls.
O rly?
Then I don't want to hear a peep about D-Whistle in 06.
06 Finals was pure basketball, at it's finest.
Now, when you grow up,
and actually use the eyes in your head,
instead of just letting the NBA own you,
like they send your a yearly check,
then and only then,
can we talk NBA "basketball."
What do you mean "could've" beaten the spurs? OKC has always been the overwhelming favorite against the spurs since 2012.
I have no problem rooting for KD. It's ers like Westbrook and Fisher that make my blood boil. It was the same way I used to feel about your Mavs. Loved Dirk but despised Terry and Stackhouse. In 2011 I said it and rooted for them anyway. Still glad Dirk got that ring.
Ginobili is the biggest flopper in the nba and the refs actually fall for it. All the teams are flopping nowadays. It's gotten out of control. It's just something I had to accept nowadays. But the Spurs get lots of calls just like OKC.
Injuries are injuries Spurs have had their fair share.
