/shrug, I suppose the good news is - the Spurs don't need to win in OKC. But I'm always scared.
I don't wanna lose to okc. An injured one at that. All the pressure is on us. They have their excuse already. When was the last time we even won in Oklahoma? With our luck Perkins will probably get a triple double tonight smh![]()

No why would we , were the best in the NBA in the season and playoffs!
I don't want to drive a 7 hour round trip today to see Spurs lose game 1....that would make my drive back a very long sad ride.

Scared? No.
Nervous? yes.
This OKC team is an excellent team, with or without Ibaka.
I am already happy with this season, but then I'm not of the "championship or nothing at all" variety. Lots of folks are; I'm just more of "thrilled to be a fan of a consistently hard working and entertaining team" all season long.
Not scared, but nervous. I'm picturing all the scenarios in my head. I either see the spurs blowing them out in game 1 (no homerism, just my guess) or the thunder by >4
Exactly if we give them the respect they deserve we should win without question.
I'm not scared because we could lose. I'm scared an important Spur will get hurt. If god reads Spurstalk, karma should hit us.
If noone gets injured, Spurs will win in 5 (and maybe even after losing today)!
Sad but true.![]()
Always nervous before important games but ever since 6 it ain't no thang.
shouldn't you have seen a therapist by now? you start this thread before every series.
I'm excited. Should be a great series.
is that the episode where she does drugs? God damn I'm getting old....
Scared? no! I'm ready for this series to get started. OKC isn't the boogeyman but they are a tough out with lots of pride. Serge or no Serge, I've been wanting to see this rematch since 2012. I'm surprised OKC made it this far, but Reggie Jackson turned out to be a more complete player than Kevin Martin and their rookie Adams gave them solid minutes.
I was hoping we 'd take out the 2 Texas teams first but Houston didn't play along. OKC is Houston on steroids with more confidence and experience. I seriously hope the Spurs humble them and send them fishing.
You gonna watch tonight Rob?
Not sure. I don't know if I can stomach all the OKC showboating and theatrics. Just hope we win.
