lol old f@ggot.
At first I thought..."are you kidding me?" Then it began to sink in, the Vikes are going nowhere with the great running back, so it's real obvious they need a bunch of other things. So why not unload him to somebody just a stud back away from being a contender like the....Chargers. Matthews is average at best. It would have to be a team real close right now like the Chargers, Peterson is what 30?
Just think of all the great players who got moved around.
Joe Montana
Earl Campbell
Deion Sanders
Herschel Walker...was never used right in the NFL. His USFL days the best ever by any pro back.
Tony Dorsett
Emmitt Smith
Ronnie Lott
Eric erson
Kenny Stabler
Ed Reed
Rod Woodson
Joe Namath
Jerry Rice
Randy Moss
Terrell Owens
Darrelle Revis
Adroin Boldin
Marshall Faulk
Roger Craig
LaDainian Tomlinson
Boomer Esaison
Kurt Warner
Brett Favre
Peyton Manning
Roman Gabriel
Y.A. tle
Joe Washington
Keith Lincoln
Michael Haynes
Mike Garrett
Reggie Bush
Russ Francis
Drew Brees
Chris Carter
Edgerrin James
Joe Cribbs
Eric Decke
O.J.Simpson
James Brooks
John Riggins
Larry Csonka

lol old f@ggot.
Avante, can you list me the Top 25 rushing seasons by over-30 RB's, with their yardage total? I'm legitimately interested to see who makes the list, and how many names show up multiple times
I'd much rather trade for Andre Johnson since he's actually useful to winning in today's league![]()
The Vikings would have to gain something in order to make the trade. What would SD give up in this scenario?
Lol jacking off to the RB in a passing league
Well you you say stupid like this...

GoodOdor replied to a thread Why does Michael Jackson get a pass in The Club
For a couple mill, I would dig up his corpse and suck his rotting until there's nothing left.
It sorta loses something ya ing re .
That would take some work since that is something I've never thought of.
What happened to...
Russell Wilson is just a game manager, it's the D and running game that wins it for them?
Are the Ninrers a passing team. What two teams have won more thab the Ninrers and Seahawks in the last couple years?
Draft picks.
Telesco is not re ed enough to waste valuable draft picks on one of the least important positions in football![]()
How many passes did Russell Wilson throw last season, you remember him that SUPERBOWL WINNING QB.
Look at what happened to that great passing team with that great great QB Peyton Manning vs a great D that can run thr ball.
You understand
third and short
wearing a team down
protecting the lead
running out the clock
...let me guess, nope!
I'll go slow.
Without a stud back you are constantly in third and 7 or more. Whats that tell a defense?
With a stud back now it's third and a couple, now the defense has to guess.
See how that works little guy?
We already have a good enough stable of RB's to do that, we don't need Adrian Peterson's bloated contract
Anyone who actually watches the Chargers knows that what we really need offensively is another good wide reciever to pair with Keenan Allen.... other than that, it's the defense that has been full of holes (hence Telesco's defense-heavy draft)....
So you'd just as soon have Ryan Matthews over LaDainian Tomlinson....right?
So you ignore how successful the Niners/Seahawks have beeen lately, playing old style footbal, right?
Tell me again about how Russell Wilson is just a gare manager but it takes the pasing game to succeed...hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!
I'd take almost anyone over that career loser LT, he was a massive waste of money come playoff time....
Both teams are built around defense, so if the Chargers want to emulate those teams, trading for Peterson is just about the last thing they should be doingSo you ignore how successful the Niners/Seahawks have beeen lately, playing old style footbal, right?![]()
Now you're disrespecting one of the great backs, hahahaha!!!!!!!!! You're killing me half pint.
So you've never heard of Marshawn Lynch and Frank Gore, right?
Play D, win the turnover battle, run the ball while stuffing the run and play special teams. You do those things and you can win without having to throw the ball all over the place. Why not pay attention to what's really going on little man, ok?
how about this: "score more points than the other team"? mine trumps yours tbh
I think it has more to do with their physical and stifling defense rather than their RB's. I also think that the O-Line is more beneficial than a stud running back. If you have a great O-Line you don't have to have worry about overpaying a RB whose wheels usually fall off at or around 30.
don't you dare saying seattle has a great oline tbh![]()
Nah, injury prone + Tom Telesco wouldn't chuck valuable picks and/or a good player on someone who's one hit away from never playing again. Mathews is better than those on the outside see, ain't his fault he's been stuck behind a mediocre O-line. If we were to go all in for a superstar, I'd rather it be a pass rusher or a receiver.
lol @ trading for a running back
I don't know if anyone told you, but it's a passing league now.
So you see the Niners and Seahawks as passing teams, right?
So many great things happen when you can run the ball. None more important than being in third and short as opposed to third and long.
Physical backs do wear down a defense, which makes everything easier late in the game for an offense,
An offensive line wants to smash and bang not pass protect, so they are happy. You don't have to worry about sacks and INT's. You are keeping the ball away from them. You get a stud back/defense and you'll kick ass on passing teams.

You still need a QB though. Otherwise the Vikings would be a perennial playoff team.
