OP, just because your team sucks and can't blow people out consistently doesn't mean SA blows their load when they do.

Other than the coasting after SA locked up the top seed at the end of the season and first bit of the Mavs series, the Spurs are averaging a 17 point blowout win over their last 25 games.

Spurs just won by 17. This is their typical "load" son.

Spurs played this game as if it were part of the summer league. They looked incredibly bored.

Good win, and like I said, the Spurs win this matchup on paper sans Ibaka. Duncan was able to dominate not having to worry about that spearchucker flying in from the weak side. And 66 points in the paint shows just how much the Thunder miss his shotblocking.

    Some concerns, though.

-Duncan always plays great in Game 1s, but tends to wear down over the series and goes back to 15-17ish PPG.

-I'm not too happy about how the Thunder charged back in the 3rd.

-Reggie Jackson still scares the out of me.

-Manu had a great game on a great percentage, but the Spurs are definitely going to have to fade a couple of 2-9 type games from him.

-Danny Green probably doesn't shoot 90% again.

-Parker is going to have to carry the scoring load later in the series. Is he up to the challenge?

-Never underestimate the Spurs' penchant for ing up.

yeah, wasnt happy with our bench outside of gino... the good news is that Patty and Marco should play better

They have to take care of business in Game 2 tbh. They do that and they're golden; the 4 day break afterwards will be huge and will prolly eliminate a lot of the concerns about Duncan and Manu. Also when you look at it, the Spurs were terrible shooting everywhere outside the paint and several of the looks they got were great. That should clean itself up to cover the drop-off from some things that worked tonight.

Actually thought those two were solid. Neither really scored but they weren't defensive liabilities for the most part. , Beli snagged a couple big rebounds during that stretch in the third when they retook control.

yeah, but if you ask me what's more sustainable with them, it's the shooting.... I appreciate they hustled, but they're going to have to make shots if the Spurs want to breeze through this. Their bench can't outscore ours.
