Shouldn't it be 10 straight Game 1's?
Going back to 2012, onward:
Utah
Clippers
OKC
Lakers (LOL what a ty ass team)
Warriors
Grizzlies
Heat
Mavs
Blazers
OKC
The Spurs have won nine straight Game 1s, the fifth longest streak in NBA history and longest since the Bulls tied the Celtics' record by winning 11 straight spanning 1996-98.

It was ten as of last night.
Don't jinx us for the next round, please.
I remember this team when they regularly LOST the first home game of every playoff series and then had to battle back, to mixed success.
It is important to have HCA and to keep it!!
Don't worry, I won't do anything to jeopardize our chances
Funny, before the 10 game G1 win streak.. Spurs had a 6 game G1 lose streak.
'08 vs. Hornets
'08 vs. Lakers
'09 vs. Mavericks
'10 vs. Mavericks
'10 vs. Suns
'11 vs. Grizzlies
so are they still 5th?
No they are tied for 2nd all time
Next series, they tie for 1st
Next year in round 1, they break the record
Wouldn't it be tied for 3rd since both Bulls and Celtics are ahead of them?
They also set an NBA playoff record for highest shooting % in a quarter. 87.5% in the 4th.
They also broke their own record winning 8 straight home games in the playoffs by more than 15. ( Game 2 okc broke the previous record of 5, with a 6th straight 15+ win )
