Got to love his heart.
He has missed only 3 games in his career, I am sure his is tortured right now.

"Far from the beginnings of these Western Conference finals, far from these unfortified Oklahoma City Thunder, Serge Ibaka is defiant and determined for the world to witness his Willis Reed moment. Ibaka, so proud, so professional, is respectively raging against his injury diagnosis.
Ibaka is back in Oklahoma City for Games 1 and 2 – ruled out of the playoffs with a lower leg injury – but his willingness to play with pain, his loyalty to the championship cause, has him thinking about starting some stationary shooting late this week, a league source told Yahoo Sports on Monday."
Got to love his heart.
He has missed only 3 games in his career, I am sure his is tortured right now.
Spurs were right to doubt he'll be out all series even if he is.
In the article it goes on to say theres probably no chance he can come back in this series, and that the more realistic chance of him coming back would be if the Thunder advanced to the Finals.
he will not return this series ... and if so, he will be not of big use when his jumping ability is severely hampered ...
has anyone ever actually specified the exact injury ibaka has?
Grade 2 calf strain.
Grade 2 calf strain is what i heard.
okay-he wouldn't last even if he did make it back at some point in the series. that thing would flare up in no time and he'd damage the muscles. finals are possible but this series is almost a done deal as far as any return goes.
Ppl dont understand calf injuries. They are partial if not complete tears of the muscles. Ibaka could be killing chickens in his backyard and playing with the bones, it wont help. This series is for Steven Adams to win or lose
Well, the Spurs better finish off the Thunder before he has any chance of coming back. I would not want to see him if there is a game 6 or game 7.
I hope he does come back and we run a layup line on his ed up leg tbh...
Again can't read thread too Much bouncing
Of course he will try and come back. But he shouldn't. He will be like 2000 Grant Hill if he does
Oh no, no. He has health problems.
Are you sure he shouldn't? I mean I dno't wish injuries upon any players, but dirty play after dirty play, it was eventually come to bite his ass sooner or later.
Spurs need to sweep or close out in 5 tbh to not give spearchucker a chance to make a hero of himself.
Calf injuries are no joke. They're like hamstrings. With certain people, once you get one, they will always keep reoccurring.
Folks remember the image of Willis Reed limping into the arena despite his injuries. Actually, he didn't contribute much but emotion.
Parker had a Grade 2 Hammy strain last finals and played…not well after game 4, but he played.
And he's still dealing with hamstring issues a year later.
I pulled a hamstring 4 years ago and to this day at random time throughout the day, certain movements will still cause a twinge.
I read that somewhere else, but it's not true. He's missed three in the last two years, but he missed nine games as a rookie.
and here comes the media fabricating the come back story...the side show ibaka who will prop up mvp durant onto the pedestal.
so inspiring
