I became a big fan in of 04-05. I'd imagine that 03 Duncan (23 ppg, 13 RPG, 3 BPG) was the basketball equivalent to Hendrix at the Monterey Pop in '67
You signed up to post this bull question as your first post? Seriously?
Duncan was 11-19 27 points in Game 1. So who was guarding him? I think Perkins was getting credit for Ibaka's shotblocking.
If 2003 Duncan pulled up in a DeLorean the league would be ed with 0 bigs with interior presence to guard Tim or make him work.
after being 8-11 or 9-12 in the first. This post i think is referencing when Tim was shut down in the third going 1-6
Yes, but 03 Tim even mentioned and shut down or defend is just a no no.... 03 he could not be defended by JESUS! Okay maybe I went to far but 03 Tim was on that echelon reached by few, period.
He missed makeable chip shots. No one shut him down.
Could 2003 Duncan defend Perkins? That's the real question here.
My memory is failing me and I can't seem to remember the players that used to defend Timmy well back then. I feel like Robert Horry always did a decent job. Back in those days and it was the long athetlic guys that used to bother him a bit. These days it's the opposite, tbh
