He's the best D-League coach in the NBA, tbh
Maybe WB constant tongue lashings are getting to the officials. Dude was dropping f bombs and air punches in their direction all night.
Then he does the post game presser and sounds like Michael Jackson.
No doubt, I can't disagree, but it isn't as if GOAT coaches haven't employed this tactic before eg; Phil Jackson...
Can't believe he didn't cop a technical.
Yes sir
Brooks literally says during the presser: "we're a free throw shooting team so to only get a few in the 2nd half..." A free throw shooting team? That's not a ing team strategy you moron. You don't game plan around freebies, what the you en led prick?
Also Serge Ibaka, with the way games 1 & 2 have gone, does Ibaka really make a difference? Drop in the bucket - one player cant negate 66 game 1 paint points or 35 point game 2 deficit.
He's a role player, not Jesus Jordan over here. ffs
CIA Pop throws game 3 or 4 so that Brooks keeps his job
Mugen with the 3rd degree burn and _JaG & ELNono with the handy reaction gifs. perfect.
He has a lot of gall complaining about the refs. The refs were practically leaving teeth marks on OKC's until it was clear that the Spurs were blowing OKC out regardless, at which point the refs abandoned OKC like the flakey hoes that they are.
If Brooks can't make more adjustments to get OKC to the line what is next? Has Scotty got the
owners support statement yet. Will Brooks get canned if they lose the next two like tonight's
beat down.....Fisher is up for two coaching jobs if what you hear is true..Lakers and the Knicks....
Could he be the next OKC coach if Brooks is fired?....
Phil Jackson is a badass. He would never complain about lack of free throws for his own team. He'd just subtly/sarcastically make fun of RefKC for living at the line (usually).
Spurs get the OKC treatment one game and Brooks is whining about free throws. This is how OKC's opponents feel 90% of the time they play OKC.
OKC (usually, not tonight) is such a ref-propped fraudulent team that they've grown accustomed to it. It's disgraceful. I'm pretty sure nobody outside of Methlahoma takes OKC seriously. They're not a good team. They're not fun to watch. They're completely fraudulent for whatever reason. You'd expect the reigning champs to get routine home cooking at the line but Miami is average when it comes to free throws. For whatever reason OKC is routinely propped up game after game (again, tonight is a welcome exception where the Spurs actually got the OKC treatment and we weren't called for 6 or 7 ticky tack fouls that have been called in the past).
it was fun watching westbrook get a beat down without calls tbh. you could tell he kept trying to draw fouls and the refs wouldn't have it.
and may 21st + '14 = 35! wowzers!
How many times did Scott Brooks say "we didn't get to the line...?" I counted at least 8.
He is a loser, got lucky with a decent team and refs love now its over.
OKC actually got what they needed last night with the two quick ones on Leonard. Let's be honest, who was everyone talking about after game one? Leonard.
The touch foul on Leonard vs Durant in the first freakin minute of the game was a ticky-tack foul that was the typical "you can't touch Durant". The moving screen flop by Perkins was beyond pathetic at the six minute mark. That call totally took Leonard out of the game and the OKCs could not take advantage.
Duncan got teed up because the first six minutes were so bad. Fortunately, the Spurs stayed right there and did their thing.
This will not be a sweep, IMO, but I don't see OKC winning four out of five either. OKC will not find the answers for their defensive and offensive problems four times.
Spurs don't foul. Most of the times, they just stand there with their arms straight up. Spurs have been the least fouling team in the NBA for two years.
Brooks is a complete . Your playing a team that doesn't foul. I hope he isn't imply another game 6 ref treatment be given for the remainder of the series. But I hardly think we see games 3 & 4 of the Mavs '06 series repeat itself.
