Yeah, they will throw game 4 again to make some money.
not 2. 1 game. that's the plan.
Duncan gave it out by mistake![]()

Duncan said it by mistake. then caught himself and corrected himself![]()
I think the Spurs realize how perfect the rest was from round 2 to wcf and the don't want to much rest before finals. Using okc as a warm up team. To keep them ready for the finals.

Damn I'm starting to believe this now...I hope this is not the case bc I would love to sweep the thunder
Too much rest and Spurs get rusty and thatīs a fact not my personal opinion.
If you can close down a series you do that, no matter what. That's kinda Pop overthinking. You don't give hope to a team which is down 3-0. Thunder is not the freaking Blazers. If we can sweep, we have to sweep. Miami will close it down in 5 so not like that series would go to 7, we won't have more than 3 days off.
i agree but common man would it be sweet to sweep the thunder!? Just go YouTube wcf game 5 2012 and you'll understand brother
Yeah thatīs my mentality too, sweep them if you can but too much rest and our guys suffer I agree no more than 5 games.
Sweep them if you have the chance. We swept the Grizzlies last year and had some rest since Miami-Indy went 7 and we stole game one nonetheless.
Actually, I want the Spurs to try and sweep so they can be well rested for the Finals. It doesn't matter if they have two months rest (it does but you get the point), they will be ready for the Heat no matter what. Revenge is a dish best served cold.
just like the portland series? winning game 5 at home? i'm down with that. plus regrouping them for the finals.
A part of me wants to believe that Tim was giving OKC the benefit of the doubt, but we all know that's not true. The Spurs are just toying with OKC at this point.
Tony's hamstring is the only reason you need to want to finish this series as soon as possible.
If you can sweep sweep. No such thing as too much rest. As evidenced by Manu and now tony, rest does them nothing but good.
This. Fresh Tony so much better than tired, beat up Tony. Gino for that matter, too. Extra games are Russian Roulette, no less.
I'd love a sweep, but I'd also love Derek Fisher's career to end in a game 5 blowout in San Antonio, with him on the court surrounded by 4 D-Leaguers down by 30 with 8 minutes to play.
Can't go wrong either way.
Love that image. Would be great. That said, as a practical matter, still would rather have the sweep.
I hope this is a sarcastic post...
That would be epic!![]()
I think so. Dont get me wrong obviously if both games in OKC are in hand Spurs will take both. But seems like the gameplan is to win 1, like Timmy divulged by mistake.
Most likely okc wins game 3 and Spurs win game 4.
What did Tim say?
Let's at least get 1 of 2 in OKC first.
