2 fouls on Splitter and Leonard in the first 6 minutes.
This will likely be the hardest game we've had all year. On the road, at OKC, and OKC knows it's door die time. I think OKC has the most pressure. Oh my gosh, the pressure. I was surprised in Game2 at KD's lapses, he is seeming to get worn down (understandably), mentally as much as physically.
2 fouls on Splitter and Leonard in the first 6 minutes.
I don't know if it will be as hard as games 3 and 4 in Dallas, tbh. The Thunder don't really seem like they have anything put together anymore. They got decimated in games 1 and 2 and Durant and Westbrook seem to be having issues on the court with each other too.
Not that I think it will be dominating effort for us like games 1 and 2, but I think the Thunder's abilities are overstated. They have no way to score and play interior defense at the same time, they will not survive this series unless Ibaka comes back from his injury and becomes the next coming of Hakeem.
grats on your finals appearance thunderefs. much well deserved!
I worship your brilliant responses.
Scorched Earth?
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
no!
Way to be up on your history there.
Animal House. watch it.
If guys outside Durant & Westbrook can't make shots, that's a wrap
The Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor.
I cant believe all you s who haven't seen Animal House. No one used to question this line.
I only know Animal Farm where a fat black hog named Napoleon ... ah well, never mind
Not only that they hadn't recognized it from the film, but even that just MAYBE someone on the internets might just be making a joke? I Lulled.
A younger generation coming up who has never even heard of the movie + a somewhat higher percentage of non-Americans = you can't expect 100% of people to know that line
Refs have been off the last two games, but they'll be in front of the home crowd on Sunday.
Leonard will be limited to 10 min total with bogus foul calls, KD will have 35+ pts, OKC win. But then we take games 4 & 5.
WTF has no one seen animal house.
I think it has to be a generational thing. Hard to realize how many folks are too young or culturally too different to have seen one of the funniest lines out of a classic movie (well, classic to some - I'm actually too old to have appreciated the sop ric humor in it - but it is my son's all time favorite so of course I have seen it. That line was my favorite because it was one of the only to have any nuance to it.)

Don't you kind of wonder what is was that Pop said to each of the three refs during that time out (can't remember exactly but I think it was after Tim's technical)? He went up to each of them separately and said something to each one, and then turned off his belt mike before he spoke to Ron Garretson. I kept asking my husband if he maybe had pictures of each of them in a hotel room with a hooker and was threatening to give them to their wives or something. Because I swear…things changed after that.
But, I do expect to get ref-screwed in OKC. It won't be pretty, but we might prevail anyway.
I thought it was the French. No wonder I flunked history. I though Dean Wormer hated me.
Oh good God...
If this sample is reprentative of the ST forum as a whole, a bunch of people missed a classic.
It's not just animal house, it's a military strategy that's been used way before that wonderful movie came out..
Guys, seriously. You have never heard that joke before. That is a running joke especially in the military.
