Lying about injuries & timetables is old news for Presti & Co. tbh. Do people really believe the organization is legitimately shocked by this miraculous recovery?![]()
Now THAT'S a story line!!!!:

How do we know these aren't more mind games after two successive beatdowns? I'll believe he's playing when it's officially announced Sunday.
Sounds like a very plausible explanation.
Give the fans hope, play for 10 minutes like a zombie (which won't change the outcome of the game anyway), be a local hero, provide a feel-good excuse for being swept by the Spurs... there are only positive aspects to this story for OKC management.
totally reaks of desperation by okc to pull this move, they look like noobs this series, totally out of sync top down. strange for a team who's been there before. didn't expect such a complete lack of poise from the thunder in this series.
Who the is this "Ibaka". I watched the WCF and read a lot of game recaps, Reggie Miller interviews and other espn stuff. Never came across this name.
They've got quite a long history of inaccurate injury timetables then. I mean when does it stop being coincidence that their guys always seem to come back sooner than expected and accepted as just a part of their Front Office M.O. tbh.
they already lied about stealing the franchise from Seattle.
Now if only they could get Harden to return too.
I'm thinking the exact same; OKC trying out the psychological approach..
Exactly. The franchise was already born from sketchy origins. To think that lying about how injured a player really is a stretch for their org is pretty dumb to me tbh.
Lol apparently some do.
Damn, now the zen has one less excuse.
he will pick up fouls do to him being slow
One more reason to have our guys step it up even another level! Bring it!
Presti's most recent quote says something along the lines of "Well, there was so much blood and swelling in the original imaging and diagnosis, that is what we based the expected time for return on."
Cracks me up…so basically he's saying "our medical staff can't read an injury MRI and it's all their fault that we lied"!! HAH!!
Throwing the docs under the bus!!
Either the Thunder' medical staff is terrible at diagnosing injuries, or the Front Office isn't genuine in how they deal w/ injury reports.
I refuse to believe that a professional team's doctors are that bad.
Nothing wrong with that, of course, as they're not breaking any rules to my knowledge. But it gives you some possible insight on how the organization is run over in OKC tbh.
Did Presti had an update on the rectum tear his team suffered last Wednesday?![]()
Leave it to Amused to do a half-assed job, tbh...
I mean, even that Pop quote is snarkier than usual. That's a subtle jab at Presti and the two already don't have the greatest of relationships after how Sam handled accepting the Sonics job.
NBA should investigate and fine these things... No, they prefer to give multi thousand dollar fines on cursing and other soft
Haven't seen a Canadian turn heel so quickly since Bret "The Hitman" Hart tbh.
