It's rather sad that they aren't paying attention to the real stats behind the loss. We shot terribly on the perimeter which was not a cause of Ibaka, and turnovers were also not a cause of Ibaka.

Ibaka ted on Splitter. Can Ibaka hold this heroic effort in game 4? I don't think Ibaka can. What a stud that Ibaka guy was today

But, but, Ibaka wont be a factor in the series!!
He made a huge difference for OKC. This series is long from over.

Key is Diaw being able to hit that three. I'd think about cross-matching Ibaka with him and bringing Splitter off bench to run pick and roll with Manu. With Splitter in, Ibaka can just camp out in the paint. Splitter missed some gimmes that he'll get other nights.

Definitely not a fan of going small with this team (means too much Marco trying to play defense) and the only other option to stretch the floor is Bonner.

Definitely, Diaw had a lot of open looks tonight, if he made half of them it could have been an entirely different game. Oh well, at least he was aggressive and not settling for weak shots, he should continue to be assertive on offense, it's always bad when he passes up an open look 3. Splitter did at least deliver on some crucial rebounds, because nobody else was grabbing them tonight, so I can't fault him too much; it would have been over way sooner if not for him.

He got his shots and his blocks tonight, and his return was an emotional boost for OKC. He's not the sole difference between a 35 point Game 2 win and what was essentially a 20 point Game 3 loss.

Spurs were still outscored, even when Ibaka was on the bench, tbh..

Spurs didn't hit perimeter shots because OKC's D was that much better with Ibaka anchoring the paint, allowing perimeter defenders to pressure the passing lanes and shooters more.

The Spurs always let good players become all-star MVPs against them while the true MVPs produce average numbers usually. Durant and Westbrook were the least of our worries in this game.

This. There's a lot more than Ibaka to this loss. Despite playing like , the Spurs were within 6 with 9 minutes left ( if Mills' 3 counts as it should have).

This is much different than in 2012. The Spurs weren't compe ive at all in Games 3 and 4.
