If Manu has 7 turnovers in the game I would probably go with TP.
Funny thing is, there have been very few chances this post season for any last second heroics. Most games blowouts
If Manu has 7 turnovers in the game I would probably go with TP.
Mills
That little fella is on fire.
Depends on who has had the better game or the hotter had at that juncture.
Even then, I'm really cool with either taking the shot.
If Spurs need some offense with a couple of minutes left to play, give it to Parker.
If the Spurs need a GW shot without much time remaining, let Manu shoot it.
Manu, Parker is incapable of create a play for others, Manu can pass and shoot, you cant double guard him without the risk of an easy shot for one of his teammates
Depends on the game tbh. Whoever is hot gets the shot. If Danny Green is 5-5 from 3 during the game, he'll get the shot. If Manu has that stat-line, he'll get the shot. Same with Mills/Belinelli, etc.... Just depends on the flow of the game.
Both have shown to be pretty clutch over the course of their careers, if any Spurs fan diss any of these guys on that regard they haven't been paying attention.
Agreed
Right now? Parker. During Manus prime it was him by a mile tbh.
Manu was filthy, very good 3pt shooter, excellent at getting to the rim, drew plenty of fouls and had great court vision. Now he can only do a couple of those things a night.
i honestly can't say. they're both capable of shrinking completely or burying a critical dagger. i don't prefer one over the other to take that final shot
If we're talking prime manu and prime tony for the end of the game I trust manu by a mile to make something good happen if it's a pass shot steal drawing a charge.. manu would get it done
Manu for sure. Tony Parker's jump shots are coming off screens and if the defense can recover it alters his shot. A poster above talked about the Splitter iso screen 30 feet away, but Manu's almost automatic when he does that iso screen and goes in for the layup. It's the same play every time and it's a hang time lay-up that goes in many times. He did it when Shaq was with the Phoenix Suns, he did it against the Denver Nuggets in the playoffs, he did it in last year's playoffs. Not to mention, he did it to win the FIBA championship a couple years ago.
GOAT MANU![]()
I agree, I don't have a preference. Whichever is the better shot. But I can't see Manu "shrinking." Screw up? Sure. But I don't believe he has any fear of the moment at all.
From 3 minutes till 25 seconds, I trust Parker because current Manu is wreckless and Parker is pretty money when they run their offense. For a last shot inside of 24 seconds, I trust Manu because he can usually create something for the last second whereas Parker struggles when just trying to generate a potential game winner (without running their actual offense).
Answer: Bonner > Manu
Problem this series isn't Manu.. it's your boy.. he better step his game up
21 & 7... Clutch 3... Na problem is your boy is a klutz
Turnobili reared his ugly head at the worst time possible tonight. But somehow I'd still rather have him handling it late if Tony's being guarded by Lebron. He basically becomes useless when they make that switch.
