No ref wants to be a villain more than Joey, even vs the Spurs. Look for him to play a part tonight.
Joey over the past 3 years especially, has this I dont give a eff what you think MFer mentality when it comes to players and coaches.
Actually, the home team as only won 1/3 of the playoff games under Joey as head ref. IMO he was the ref I wanted to see tonight. let's hope he does a repeat performance.
Agreed. Joey is just a better referee than Brothers and it doesn't seem close. I'm terrified of Brothers in game 5 if it's at 2-2. Not to say he's going to screw the Spurs or Thunder of whatever, he's just a terrible ref. Anything would be possible.

If the lead ref is Joey Crawford tonight, chalk up a win for the Spurs. He HATES the Thunder. Last game he called in OKC was his infamous "LISTEN TO ME!!! LISTEN TO ME!!!!!" game, when he grabbed the ball away from Kevin Durant just before he shot a critical free throw against the Clippers (ostensibly to correct the team fouls showing on the scoreboard).... and then KD missed the free throw.
Is Tony Brothers the one with the unibrow? I would MUCH rather see him out there tonight.

If the questionable calls go in SA's favor early on, wouldn't be surprised to see them go in OKC's favor late in the game. Seems to be the trend.

Agreed, what Ive noticed from Joey is while he's an idiot, he refs the same anywhere. Unlike most refs he isn't influenced by the crowd at all, he does wtvr he wants
Not only will we get this crew for Game 4, but likely the same crew in Game 7. I don't mind Crawford on the road as he doesn't defer to the crowd. At home in Game 7 though ... please no.
Joey will T up either Ibaka or Westbrick tonight after one of their numerous charges.
I don't think he will T up Durant, but I think he might do it to Westbrook.
