i want me a Carr jersey wtf oakland
I wouldnt be surprised if Carr outplays Schaub during camp and preseason, in fact, he should and will.

the insider info is on the "premium forum" which you have to pay for (its a new thing they ins uted this past year). i sent an email whining about it and they gave me a free year subscription rofl
If the Raiders would just stop making those change of possesion mistakes they'd be a decent team. So many stupid penalties at the worst times has been their trade mark for years. You know they are going to blow it and they do.
hopefully the last couple of years of bringing in veterans like charles woodson, nick roach, lamarr woodley, and justin tuck will help alleviate that dumb issue on defense. its also good to be getting Tyvon Branch back this year, he'd been our only pro-bowl caliber player the past couple of years since we lost nnamdi
had the texans chosen bortles, Carr wouldve been a jag![]()

we wouldve had a mike evans + carr+ marqise lee draft![]()

ing texans ruin everything
There's a good chance neither takes a significant snap this season. At least our first round pick will be an every down player
You guys taking Bortles made our first two rounds possible
here's the bit i was talking about earlier
Scoop on Matt Schaub...I was at the Draft last week in New York and ended up talking with several team reps during down time. One of those reps were from the Houston Texans, so of course I had to ask him about Matt Schaub. I asked him point blank what happened to Schaub last year. How do you go from a Pro bowl QB to being benched in favor of an unknown commodity? He painted a rather bleak picture. He said that the team lost confidence in Schaub. He moped around headquarters and appeared to have mentally checked out. His confidence was at an all-time low and was never able to recover from his dismal start. The players never regained faith which ultimately made him expendable.
Which leads me to what I've been hearing. I spoke with several Raiders sources that have been saying that Schaub doesn't exude confidence at any level. He walks around the facility and doesn't seem like an NFL quarterback and a leader of a team. I can't help but think of Tyler Wilson our 4th round pick from 2013. He too was broken down and destroyed mentally in camp last year. It was so bad for Tyler that the Raiders released him. In an effort to ease some of the popularity that Carr has been receiving and to help keep the pressure off Schaub, the Raiders are delaying the release of Carr jerseys.
I only hope Schaub can regain his 2012 form and lead the team. Or at least until Carr is ready!
Schaub threw a pick 6 to justin tuck near the end of our first practice.hope I was wrong about Carr needing a redshirt year
Carr holding a clipboard for that mental midget Schaub for the rest of his career
i was gonna put this as one of the locks of 2014
carr has a chance to start by bye week if schaubs problem persists
its day 1 of OTA's, but its just an ominous sign. crazy how quickly the er fell off a cliff. 5 straight years of 90 QBR (no raiders qb has had a single season of 90 qbr since rich gannon) and the in one season lost any mojo he ever had
He did lose mojo, but he was never the same after he suffered that Lisfranc injury in 11 when Albert Haynesworth hit him low. It's pretty much a degenerative injury, as his mobility ( what little he had) went out the window, and he doesn't plant firmly on that foot anymore. Which led to all those pick 6's, as looking at the gif
He doesn't step into the throw. There's a reason for that and the Raiders will find out soon enough.
McFadden had the linsfranc a couple of years back and so did MJD... We need a podiatrist on staff tbh
Oakland Raiders QB Matt Schaub is excited to have more control of the offense in Oakland. "To come to an offense where the coach is looking to give you more freedom, and looking to give you more control of things," Schaub said. "I had that in some aspects in Houston, but there are things I'm being asked to do here that I didn't have control of in Houston. I would have loved to, but we just weren't in control of it. To now be in that position, and being the quarterback, that's such a great place to be because you can get everyone on the same page."

which part is funny?
how about quoting me only after the series is over and I don't get to reply?.. and as expected, you regularly jot down my posts in that little agenda you carry in your pocket. DD knows what that's like
my bad man, i even apologized there. at least i know you would have shown up were it not for your ELE... DD is just a coward about it and plays it off like he's trying to troll
And PS: I gave Ginobili his in' due: http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=234194, in case you're searching for all of my Ginobili-related posts this series.
nice. there were new threads popping up every 3-4 seconds last night so i musta missed it. i'll add it to my log![]()
Damn, Philo getting regulated![]()
Jermichael Finley met with a "mystery team" on Friday... the Raiders are still lacking a trustworthy starting TE, have 9 mil in cap room left, and GM Reggie McKenzie has GB ties. interesting speculation going on
