Pop's strategy never makes sense.. We're losing so let me pull my starters so they'll have less confidence.. they're last moments of the game were playing so ty that they were benched... great idea.. wait we get a spark from our bench.. it, lets bring in cold shooters who won't drive the paint.. We play our 3rd string bench minutes as if they'll get burn in game 5 but they won't unless it's a blowout. Should play his regular rotation all game long despite being blown out, get them to know some shots maybe they learn to go into the paint and stop being cowards. Insert player here and there to get some rest and see if they have better rotations by inserting said player
Uh not according to the last 6 games against OKC w a healthy Ibaka tbh. The Spurs had zero chance of making a comeback based on what we saw for 2.5 quarters.
The benchwarmers showed more heart and moved the ball much better than I've see any rotation player do in the last 2 games tbh.
I'm gonna laugh if the Spurs get blown out in Game 5. This game was winnable early in the 4th. Every game is precious in the playoffs. You don't treat this like you're in the regular season on a back to back.
