If the Spurs didn't learn anything after Game 3 I'm not sure why anyone expects them to learn anything after Game 4.

I doubt Westbrook drops 40 again, tbh. How sweet would it be to win Game 5 and finally get a win in OKC and close these s out.
    Durant hasn't dropped 40 yet.

It was a fluke. The Thunder had winded themselves down. If we dare start our 3rd string in game 5, OKC will eviscerate them too. And maybe to a greater extent.
Wtf? No one was talking about starting our 3rd stringers. I think we did learn something about our reserves tonight: Joseph deserves some minutes over mills. M

This was the game where Russ/KD would go off. There was a good chance it would happen in this series. Spurs have to make some legit defensive adjustments, move the ball better, and shorten the rotation.

I'd start with Diaw starting and CoJo getting minutes next game.

As bad as they've been these last two games, I think they'll respond in Game 5. Must win tbh.

    Play our 3rd stringers?
No, just watching how they played. All hustle. Great ball movement.

That's what I am seeing but if worse comes to worse we have home court.

In this series Splitter goes behind Baynes in rotation. And CoJo might need to graduate into the foreign legion 2nd unit.

Yup, it's the WCF and they haven't showed up in 2 games. They've shown zero heart and played scared in OKC. I'd rather them see how much success the scrubs had than try and pull of the most unlikely comeback in playoff history tbh.
OKC has blown 20pts leads twice at home this season, with Ibaka... that's why you don't pull the plug. I love Pop, but I hate when he does that. I mean, I can't even buy the avoiding injury bull . It's the WCF, this is what you rest your guys for. Play Cojo if you think he's going to do something, but don't shut it down.

Damn, what a terrible turn of events. And to think they killed us with Nick Collison and Thabo Sefolosha glued to the bench. Spurs need to find their nuts and play like their lives are on the line on Thursday.

Depending on Cory Joseph to play big minutes in a pressure-filled Game 5 of the WCF is asking a bit much lol. We all know what's going to happen here. Ginobili played no minutes in the 2nd half. He's getting the start in Game 5 and will play big minutes in that game to get a desperate win.

Totally agree, but Pop has had this defeatist mindset for a while now. Doubt he'll change in between games 4 & 5.

The Spurs need to post up and attack Durant when the Thunder go small. There were 5 or 6 straight possessions where Durant was on Diaw and he never saw the ball.

The Thunder play better against the Spurs than any other team tbh. They up their game an entire level, they're not nearly the same team against Memphis, Clippers, and other scrub teams tbh.

The team is old. They've all admittedly gotten tired and looked tired even when there's days between in the playoffs tbh. Any time you can buy them rest, you do it especially when they looked absolutely heartless/terrible for 2.5 quarters.

I think Green/Kawhi should have gotten some minutes in the 4th but it's Pop. I don't agree with him on many occasions but I'm with him on this one.

I love how Pop acts like reporters are asking stupid questions with obvious answers when he has NO solutions for any of the problems OKC presents.

You don't get to act like a smart-ass when it looks like you don't have any answers.

And Cojo won't get more minutes.. Has Pop shown any sign that he is willing to change his rotations? Same game plan..
