In the Matrix where many Spur fans live, the Spurs are a power house team, long and disciplined and talented and inexplicably good. Their future moves in a line that doesn't make sense to those not in the Matrix, because for those of us who have been unplugged from the facade, we know that the powerhouse aspect of the Spurs is just a construct of your imagination. We know that the Spurs are ready for their summer to start. We see it in the coding, we see the glitches in their faces when they admit to themselves internally that they gave it their best shot and that wasn't good enough. We mostly see it in how the Matrix responds to those glitches, as if it's caught them by surprise that their powerhouse team has small cracks of light peering through their pores.
