Hes shooting in the 30s. When someone is shooting in the low 30s you probably sit him at some point to try and win the game
So basically what I said the entire starting lineup has sucked balls, the star of the team has sucked balls, one of the most reliable players on the team has sucked balls but hey lets put all the blame on one player instead just because of random reasons and I guess it's a reason to start another stupid and pointless thread. It's not like there aren't enough of them.

The problem is you can tell when pop says to him "we need you to be aggressive in this game". Start of game 4. Hits some 3s and then tries to force it on isos and pnr. He needs to post on the elbow or run in transition. Play good defense with the usual steal/transition dunk. That IS his game.
I expect him and Green to play way better tomorrow. They need to take it upon themselves to have a good game, but it would also be nice if Pop put them in positions to succeed as well. Put Green on Westbrook. Run a couple of plays to get Kawhi free lanes to the basket. Play both guys for 38-43 mins. Enough resting...
Pop needs to let him loose and forget about his contract.
I don't think he's overrated but he definitely played poorly in OKC. He needs to play a lot better and not force things. Wreak havoc on defense, take the ball to hole for easy buckets in the lane and kick out to shooters when defenders collapse on him. Surprisingly, his vaunted defense was quite bad. He took way too many risks and left shooters wide open to help others. He's not a rookie anymore but he made some rookie mistakes.
when the refs call touch fouls on you and let the other team hack.....this is gonna happen.
He's not playing much tbh if he was playing 40 mpg and got some plays called for him, he would have better numbers. That said, he does need to play better, and smarter.
OP staying true to his screen name.
What does it matter OP if your not even watching the games....or so you say so. Remember as easy as a ripping a band-aid off?
Anyone that promotes Marco and hates on danny and Kawhi should not be taken seriously..![]()
trade him in post season
Or your boy CoJo
Kawhi is going to be huge tonight. Book it.
Popovich isn't putting Kawhi in a position to succeed or to use his athleticism. Similar to the Ginobili/Splitter screen and roll it seems the Spurs forgot some of their playcalling and what helps Leonard get going. In a half court setting I notice when Ginobili and Parker get the ball they get a load of screens so they can turn the corner on their defenders and get to the rim or get an open jumper. Leonard has rarely had any screens at all set for him in this series. They throw the ball to the guy and tell him to create something with the defense sitting in his lap. His ball handling skills aren't at that level yet where he can consistently break a defender down so he's settling on contested jumpers. In the series against Portland he was getting screens from Duncan and they were also running the guard-around play where Leonard had momentum off the hand-off from Duncan to explode to the rim. That's all missing in this series. Even when Leonard gets rolling good luck trying to keep the momentum going. The guy hit two back to back threes to start Game 4 and didn't see the ball again for 5 minutes.
He has been jacking up bad 3 point shots. I want him to take the 3-pt shot in rhythm off a pass though can live with some in transition. Coming down and chucking up a bad 3-PT shot, say semi-contested has got to stop.
Also if Cojo can dunk over Ibaka, surely Kawhi can.
Kawhi? He's 22 years old and his coach didn't play him more than 27' in regular season and never play him 40' in playoffs...
His coach didn't involve him in the offense in regular season and then you expect "a miracle" in playoffs???...
If we lose this series (we won't) it's about Pop and his system about the Big3 and never add a young guy in our offense, it's about Pop and his 0 adjustments against OKC in game 4...

U may be forgetting that he's being shadowed by 6' 11" Durant with an incredible wingspan.
He can. But most game his coach just keeps him at the 3-point line and he isn't a shooter.

so pop tells him to not hustle and not drive ... stupidity
its Pops fault that Kai is shooting 30% and grabbing a miserable 3 rebounds a game
kawhi giving manu a run for his money![]()

He doesn't need say nothing, because play a 22 years old 27' and not call plays for him in the regular season is a clear message about what Pop expects from him.
It's coach fault if he doesn't stop those forced shots and find the way to run better plays

maybe he didn't call plays for him because he sucks on offense and there is no dunk on a fast-break play...
