How does that even happen? TBH though, it's really not any worse than 90% of what is out there now. Rap is straight up garbage now for the most part. It's really not even rap anymore - it should be it's own category "Bubble Gum Rap" or "Pop Rap" or something.
That's why it happens. I think they realize that it doesn't require anything in the way of talent to have a hit nowadays. Just takes some $ to record and put out a slick video.

She's a ing White, blonde-haired Australian Levi's jeans model that speaks like a normal Australian(or New Zealander, whatever), but raps like a hood- from Atlanta, yet she has become celebrated and adored by White rap fans..it's sad, tbh..
