The NBA released a statement Friday evening saying it has resolved its dispute with S y Sterling, Donald Sterling's wife. As part of the agreement, S y Sterling and the family trust won't sue the NBA and agreed "to indemnify the NBA against lawsuits from others, including from Donald Sterling."
The NBA's announcement came less than two hours after Donald Sterling's lawyer confirmed he planned to file a $1 billion lawsuit against the NBA. The indemnification agreement means S y Sterling will protect the league from any financial losses it could suffer in a lawsuit by her husband

Isn't the NBA being bigoted toward Sterling for bashing him because of his mental health? This is no different than him talking about black people. Bigotry is bigotry. The mentally ill is one of the few groups left in American society that are basically fair when it comes to trashing and bashing without consequences. You can trash and bash the out of a schizophrenic or manic depressive without losing your job or having society character assassinate. No, S y Sterling indemnified the league from all lawsuits regarding this issue. So, Donald sues the league, and wins a billion dollars, the NBA pays the billion dollars, then because the sterling family Trust indemnified the NBA, the trust pays 1 billion to the NBA. But now Donald has to fork over a few million in legal fees
