At least be original. Jason "turtle-head" Terry had his got ass airplane take off schtick. Russell "'roids" Westbrick has his dumb ass cowboy gun holstering that he does after he makes a critical 3. If you're going to be a got at least be original.

There was some point where Dejuan looked a little skinnier this season (or maybe I'm delusional) and with the Mavs blue I got confused for a second.

I like what someone said in the espn comments on one of the Tim-Pop articles today:

The Spurs are fueled by revenge this year, atoning for all these past failures.

Game 7 against the Mavs woke them up and they snapped out of it because they recalled game 7 against the Mavs in 2006 and went on to destroy that memory.

Game 5 against the Thunder woke the Spurs up with flashbacks of 2012 and they snapped out of it and refused to let history repeat itself once again.

What happens if Spurs face the Heat in the Finals? Flashbacks, determination, and revenge?
    All of those and redemption.

What if Bonner redeems himself after all those playoff failures and starts the game knocking down a couple of threes thus opening the lanes up and the game? Come on you ing ginger, do something memorable for your team.

Dan Crawford. Best crew chief to have in this game. No question.

The only game film Pop should show to the whole team, except Duncan, is Duncan's post game interview after Game 7 last year. If that is not enough to get this team motivated and posed for redemption than nothing is.

Mentally preparing myself for a loss, tbh. Pop knows he has Game 7 in San Antonio, and won't risk running the starters to the ground in a non must-win situation.

    That said, Go Spurs Go!

Dunno about that... Would suck to go 7 when the Heat is resting... I think they're gonna go for it barring a blowout at half time or something.

It's more likely someone hands me a billion dollars off the street today than that happening, tbh. Still, we got this, tbh.

Truly I don't follow officials much. What's the thoughts on Capers and Zarba?
Capers and Zarba worked Game 6 of the SA/DAL series (along with Jason Phillips)

Capers is pretty solid, but I think he tends sometimes to get caught up in the emotion of a home crowd.

Zarba's assignment here is really curious to me. I didn't think he was likely to have made the Finals crew, but this assignment suggests that he might have. Tonight will be only his 4th conference finals game, which can be worrisome. While I think Zarba is a better official now than he was a few years ago, I think he's still prone to guessing on close plays. Zarba and Pop have some history; I know that Zarba ran Pop in a home game against Dallas a few seasons ago and I think there are few officials who even have a shot to call games at this level that are more frustrating to Pop than Zarba (though Ed Malloy would certainly appear to be another).

Cheers, thanks for that. Yeah, it's a bit worrisome that Capers gets caught up at home and that Zarba and Pop have some history. Still, it doesn't sound like the worst refs we could have. We've got a chance.
