The Spurs are finalizing a two-year, $8 million contract extension for reserve Matt Bonner, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

Concord’s Matt Bonner missed his fifth straight game with the San Antonio Spurs last night due to an injured calf.

Bonner underwent an MRI on Tuesday that confirmed a right calf strain. The forward is expected to be out approximately two weeks, which means he could miss up to nine of the Spurs’ final 12 regular-season games.

I imagine Love either gets dealt around draft time or around the All Star break. If the latter, will be interesting to see how Minnesota comes out of the gate. Their .500 record this year in the west wasn't bad and they had a very good point differential, so wouldn't be surprised if they come out of the gate strong if Love's on the roster.
