spurs fan making excuses of how/why the spurs could/should have lost
If you're referring to the needing to make a significant trade part, again, if Ibaka plays those first two games, we'll never know if that would have been necessary or not.

I'm referring to your being wrong.
I will enjoy your spinning from here on out though.
my guy robdiaz rarely disappoints
Removed one of Ginobili or Leonard for the first two games of this series and let's say the Spurs go on to lose in six . . . you're telling me Spurs fans aren't bringing that up as a reason as to why (rightfully so, obviously)? There's excuses and then there's reasons.
Despite the perception, I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong and the rare times I have been on this forum, I've owned up to them.
Ibaka came back and played 4 games, 3 of those 4 being in OKC, and the Spurs still went 2-2 in those games, with a home game 7 in the bag just in case
Worst poster on the site and a convicted child molester.
That doesn't change the two he missed. When you're as close as these two teams, things like your third best player (who just so happens to disrupt your opponents offense like no other) missing a third of the series kind of matters.
yeah son, that last part is just stupid. don't see why you would say something like that.
The Spurs offense looked just fine in games 5 and 6 with Ibaka out there
Truth hurts.
Deflection. I said the truth, want me to send the link? We can wait til the AM when you put the bottle down.
That doesn't exclude the fact that he missed two games and that they only had to beat them with him twice.
Ibaka's impact will obviously look larger considering 3 of the 4 games he played in happened to be in OKC anyway, which are games they have a solid chance to win with or without him
As if there wasn't enough evidence beforehand that he makes a major difference, particularly against the Spurs.
The notion that they're damn near unbeatable at home is overplayed, too. They've repeatedly lost close games to good teams their this season.

I thought this thread was started also in December... but I didn't know it was also Dec 21st...![]()
Now that the OP topic is no longer relevant, what is it about this time of the year that takes the cliffjumping to another level, tbh?
There's so much basketball to be played yet...
People are too impatient. They always expect the Spurs to start out the season firing on all cylinders and get angry when they have to face some adversity.
Last year's compe ion was scarier to me than it is this season.Grizzlies, Warriors, Blazers
