I would've liked Arrest if we could have got him. He was put WB on his back side on one of his wild drives to the basket.

Guy should be a Spur if he ever comes back to the league, he'd fit in perfectly at this stage in his career to do some defending and some basic offensive work.

Hope spurs can sign world peace in offseason, as the best reserve for KL, with POP"s control, World peace will be a great piece to the Spurs

I think he means the style of defense. Don't selll MWP short, either. In his prime, he was arguably the best perimeter defender of his era.

Meh, MWP was a different kind of defender IMO. He was quicker and was a little bit "tougher". He wasn't as good in the passing lanes though.

of topic, but does anyone know Kawhi's record in most shots a game?

By my count he took 22 in game 6, is that the most shots he's taken in his career?

ing fearless , taking that much shot in game 6 of the WCF..Not to mention he was 8/14 at one point but he just continue shooting..

Good sign for the finals IMO.

Exactly the kind of defense we need when refs are calling brush contact anyway, or when our stars are getting hacked hard and the rest of the team is too pussy to retaliate.

There is NO defense for Joey Crawford, at least on the basketball floor. We actually might get a break from the refs against Miami this year. The league office might look at the story potential for a Spurs win (Old Guys Come Back) over the Heat (Best BB player's heroics fall short) since the storyline of another Heat championship will be a yawner.

Of course, that's only if you subscribe to the theory that the league office wants to influence games for more entertainment dollars.

When Leonard was locked in & not being scared of taking the screens, his defense on KD was damn good. Leonard plays great defense on LeBron, more so than anyone I've ever seen, I can't wait for that match up.

One thing: What part of "arguably" was hard to understand? You're free to have your own opinion, but I would take Prime Artest (although he was perhaps too damned crazy) over Prime Bowen as my stopper.
