Anthony Davis didn't make it but Hibbert did
i don't see anything wrong with that, lottery players shouldn't get awards no matter how good they may look. And @ reggie jackson, harden and parker getting votes.. the worst thing of course is chris paul's first team, absolutely ridiculous

    Congrats Kawhi

"David Lee and James Harden received All-Defensive Team votes."

Yeah, some voters were trolling. Tony Allen not making the 1st or the 2nd defensive team is absurd IMO.

Congrats Kawhi. Can't believe Green didn't receive more votes, guy may be the best defensive 2-guard in the NBA these days (outside Tony Allen).

    @ Harden getting votes

If CP3 play such a great defense, then how come has he never been to the conference finals?

Splitter and Green don't get much attention, but have been amazing defensively this year. But since we don't block shots or get steals, no one notices.

Congrats to Kawhi, though he should have gotten All Defensive 1st team. My list would have looked something like this:

    Tony Allen - G
    Danny Green - G
    Kawhi Leonard - F
    Serge Ibaka - F
    Joakim Noah - C

While he'll probably never get the votes, Danny is a of a defender. If there were justice, he'd get serious consideration.

Green led the league in blocks per game. I believe he was second in guards for DRtg (a stat I dislike, but still) for guards as well. The numbers were there. But he'll never get credit for it with Leonard next to him. Kawhi will have to win the awards for both of them.

It's hard to take these awards seriously when a guy like CP3 is selected in the 1st team. I'll never understand how this player in particular became a media favorite with so little actual game (not to mention achievements).

Splitter really should have gotten more votes.

He's the more versatile Spurs bigman defender at this point (I love Duncan, but he's nowhere near as good defending P&Rs nowadays), and despite not getting blocks, opposing players shoot a lower FG% at the rim on shots he's defending.

Splitter is a scrub who plays 10min a game against good teams, his non selection is a non issue tbh...
