the Heat already hurt the Spurs in the worst way possible by way of The Chokejob and Ray Allen's 3.

there is really nothing the Heat can possibly do this year to inflict even a remotely close pain as 6

Even if the same exact events unfold in game 7 of this year's finals and we lose by a Ray Allen 3. Even then, it still wouldn't be as bad as last year, because it would already be the 2nd time it happens

He's nothing like Air Jaundice. No killer instinct as evidence of him "making the right play" in passing up last second shots. Gotta protect his shooting percentages, ya know? Just stop with the MJ comparisons.

Bailed out by Mike Miller two years ago.
Bailed out by Ray Allen last year.
Who will bail him out this year - Shard?
Truth bombs... It's a shame the Spurs choked it so hard, LeBron's legacy would be questioned a lot more...

lebrons compe ion as of late in the finals

    against tosb dirk and losing
    against okcrefs and winning
    against tosb duncan and winning
    repeat of last seasons opponents...

i dont know what is there to gain for lebron when it comes to all time rankings, his been winning against crappy compe ion who should be retiring and also gettin pushed to 6+7 games while putting up ty numbers below his seasonal avgs...he has more to lose on rankings if he had loss against duncan last year, and again this season...there should be no excuse to lose against a tosb pensioner team

big mistake by timmy.. we didnt need wade and james to be fired up
Agreed, round 1 already goes to Miami. I've always noticed for some odd reason in the NBA and NFL, the player to first start firing shots on a team always ends up losing ie Colts kicker saying the Patriot were 'ripe for the picking' when they finally had HCA and ultimately lost.

It doesn't take an expert to realize how dumb that was to say before the series started.

If it puts pressure on his own team to be ready, then it's the smartest thing he could have done.

If it gets the heat fired up, then it also gets the spurs fired up to be ready.

Can't say it only gets one team pumped.

I said it before, if either team needs motivation at this point, they shouldn't be here.

I'm sure they are motivated. But that extra 5% intensity makes a difference. I believe players are at their highest motivation when they are angry.

    In response to:

"it puts pressure on his team"

it's the NBA finals. you can't have any more pressure than that. if the players were able to handle the pressure of the finals, but unable to handle the pressure of duncan's comment, then lol spurs

"it will fire up the heat/bulletin board material"

it's the NBA finals. if miami wasn't motivated/fired up enough just by nature of being in the finals, and are suddenly going to play harder than they otherwise would have, then lol heat

I'm gonna laugh when Wade es to the refs about free throws and doesn't get the benefit of the doubt. I can't stand that piece of . He would be a in' spare in the NBA probably without those gift free throws he got in the 2006 Finals. , I bet he wouldn't even be in the league right now.
