Crazy tbh... He knows this is his best and last chance... (We said this last year, but you know.)

This says more about the relative lack of big man depth compared to the wings.

    giving Jeff Ayres MLE money

Also have to add that Tony being a quitter factors in as well. He basically skipped the last Portland and OKC games while TD played a good portion of both.

No matter the reasons, Old Man River Walk is getting it done!

No doubt. TD doesn't give up in important games like TP. Played through a bad ankle in the 2005 playoffs. Played the entire 2006 playoffs with plantar fascitis.

This infuriates me tbh. And all the people who are like "TP can do no wrong, he's the MVP and the best PG in the league." Sorry guys, but a true MVP and best of anything isn't a no show in the biggest games of his life. And CP3 is the best PG in the league.

That being said, I would have never thought Tony would even be in the conversation for league's best PGs when he came out. Great job by the coaching staff for developing him into what he's perceived as today. I remember when he was second in line to Antonio Daniels, who had that statue of liberty dunk and nothing else.
