It is silly, because M16's are not practical. The way to go is a pistol belt.

These idiots are walking around in Chipotle with their AR-15s and other rifles thinking they're sticking it to the "man" by doing so. This is Texas, so of course it's legal to do so, but even the NRA says they have gone too far and are "downright weird".
What do you suspect the average income/educational level is of these people?
EDIT -- Correction: The idiots are carrying around AR-15s and other rifles, the idiots are not carrying around M16s.

gun fellators, red necks, bubbas, red staters, Repug voters, tea baggers are mostly low-info, low-pay, low-education stupid s, exactly like the Repugs want them.
These guys are idiots, and so is the OP who thinks they are carrying M-16s.
Lol gun elitists
Does it matter that it's not an m16?

If you are going to call someone an idiot yes. M-16's are military issued.
what's the difference between fellating an M-16 or an AR-15?
different taste? harder? softer? comes faster?
the difference is that other idiots will look up M-16 and then make the leap that we've got people walking around with fully automatic military weapons as opposed to something more similar to a semi automatic hunting rifle.
Not to mention about a $20,000 difference in price.
there is no reason a civilian needs a $20,000+ gun
Meh. There's me and 3 guests currently viewing thread. I think we're safe from mass hysteria due to irrelevant misinformation in this thread.
yeah... it...who cares about facts...
Yeah we got all sorts of people in SA downtown walking around with semiautomatic rifles looking for a good spot to eat.
I was relieved to find out they were not automatic and invited the group in, drinks on me.
completely missing the point...
I think you're completely lost in the details. "Gun elitist" is an accurate description.
The effect of having douhcebags like this overtly carrying around rifles (whatever kind they are) in family restaurants is the same none the less.
![]()
more specifically, who cares about minor details if it doesn't change the point being made.
Automatic vs. Semi-automatic makes no material difference to the argument against carrying rifles in Chipotle or any restaurant for that matter.
...and what exactly are they hunting in Chipotle?![]()
What's the point?
So the OP wanted to argue about the type of gun being displayed?
So what's the point?
I'm curious what the point is other than the fact that you know more about assault rifles than I do from your experience playing Call of Duty in your mom's basement.
The point I was making was to just try to get the facts straight. Especially on this board. I think those guys carrying around the rifles are ridiculous attention seekers. No different than the flamboyant gays that dined at Big Earl's Bait House the other day. The gun toters IMO are just ing up the case they are trying to make. Eventually one of them will up and a gun's going to go off and kill someone.
If he says the gun is brown are you going to call him out for it really being a camouflage color?
Important stuff.
So they are not carrying around guns that could kill hordes of people, just many...
ok
Everyone keep dining, false alarm. ST freaks leaping...
I've called these guys idiots repeatedly on this board, long before you posted his article. I'm not lost in the details, I'm just correcting an idiot who thought these guys walked in to Starbuck's with $20,000 military issue rifles.
