It's always amazing to see how far some fans will go to see the Spurs. You're going to have a great time.

While you have great seats, you're going to be a bit disappointed. Section 20 is opposite the Miami bench, not behind the Spurs bench.

For Admidave, David Robinson sits in the second row of Section 24 and he is always generous with signing autographs after games. So you may be able to get a picture or an autograph.

Just landed and waiting for my boy JP. We're not landed, but for I, that's once in a lifetime and my ultimate Spurs fan dream, I probably won't have another chance of witnessing our big 3 live during the Finals.

That's my first time in San Antonio, any recommendations for good restaurant (BBQ ribs, Mexican) on riverwaLk or downtown?

It you guys are interested for a beer somewhere, we could meet

For restaurants, go to Southtown or The Pearl. Tons of good restaurants in both areas.

For BBQ, check out the Big Rib, The Granary, B&D Ice House, the Smoke Shack.

Mi Tierra Café, the atmosphere there is quintessential San Antonio, in a slightly cartoonish, fun way. San Antonio doesn't have great BBQ in the city proper, really 'small town Texas' is where to go for the best stuff. Though, Schilo's Delicatessen has some good German/Texan food. Have fun!

Check Cascabel's Mexican Patio on South St. Mary's some time for lunch. Their cochinita pibil is a really awesome plate, especially with a tamarindo agua fresca. It's a super-easy walk from the Riverwalk.

They close at 4PM though. Their sopa de fideo with some of their arbol salsa (the red one they bring you) mixed in is freaking awesome too.

I would suggest La Fogata or La Fonda on Main for Mexican food.

Or Paesano in the Quarry for Italian.

But what do I know, I live in Pasadena California.

(But I'll be on a plane for SA bright and early tomorrow morning.)

Save Mi Tierra for when you're hungry at 2AM, as they're open 24-7. Their beef fajitas are awesome, and don't miss out on their bakery; best part of the place.

Best of the tomato salsas in the city by far. I couldn't believe when they published the recipe and it was just charred tomatoes, jalapnos, onion, salt, and water.

They have a really awesome menu; it's Mexico City style cooking, and you can even get huitlacoche there, which is a major delicacy in Mexico but hard to find in the US since not many people are allowed to grow it here, being a parasite on corn and all.

Here's their menu (though the prices are about $1.00 higher now)

    Can't miss the building

I'll be at game 2. Need to meet up with some of these Frenchies and fellow Tony loyalists.

I look forward to hitting up Chris Madrid's when I get in on Sunday.

If you ever get a craving for French food, check out Saveurs 209 in downtown.

Also, for a good burger go to La Tuna in Southtown and get their bison burger.
