Theres a good one on one video with Manu on Facebook on the NBA page. This is Manu 19! year playing professionally![]()
Scott Foster
Marc Davis
Ken Mauer
Alt: John Goble
I'm going to miss this game because I'll be on an airplane. Have my DVR set. GSG
Hopefully, I won't get any spoilers when I land in SA. Maybe I'll put in my ear buds and haul as to my car with my head down.
Foster at home game 1 is not good.
He killed us in OKC.
But fingers crossed this is called fairly now.
Heat won both games of the 2013 Finals that Foster called -- games 4 & 7. Heat are something like 15-4 in the Big 3 era in Playoff games that Foster calls. They did lose Game 1 at Indiana this year with him.
just dont check ST![]()
We got this .
GO SPURS GO!!!!!
Spurs cannot let any of the officiating bother them in any of the games in the series. Just gotta keep playing like they did in game 6 at OKC, just keep playing their game, be aggressive and stay focused.
I don't know but the Heat will beat you because they are better than you on a given night. This is not OKC, they don't rely on officials.
Feels good. Party about to begin.
this game starts at 10 am in Japan, still going to drink before this game
It's gonna be raining 3's tonight!! Go Spurs Go!
So nervous. If Thunder had a healthy Ibaka and upgrades coach to Erik Spoelstra (don't need Pop if you have that much talent) level, I really don't think Spurs would have made it to the finals. I still firmly believe Heat is less talented than Thunder but more than makes it up with better team offense/defense. LeBron also logged significantly less minutes than Durant this year and has more in the tank.
Game 1 is a must win, LeBron is finding whatever little motivation he could from Tim's comments, and will try to come out with a lot of fire. Lose and we won't survive the 6th game, heck we may get swept. By the same token if we win convincingly, it will serve a cold hard truth that the only reason they looked good this year is of inferior compe ion. Psychologically it is too big.
I was way more nervous before OKC. I just feel like the worst of it is behind us.
Once I saw Ibaka out for playoffs I thought Spurs had it in the bag. Even when he returned I knew he was not going to be 100%.
Unfortunately, we are in the same situation with Parker. I have a feeling this series will not be anywhere near as close as last year. It would be more like Spurs/Thunder games 1-5. Both teams are capable of winning in just one round of burst damage.
Since game 7 of the Mavs series, we've been killing teams at home by an average 23.7. Let's hope that trend continues and we come out blazing.I kinda hope Tim has a monster game.
same here
BOLD PREDICTION: Spurs will win Game 1 by 20+ points.
+1... I just want them to come out with a ton of energy to start the game. Playing smart/fast/and great defense. I worry Wade/Lebron could go nuts, but I don't know if that would be enough. Our guys have to show up, everyone who touches the court.
I'm more nervous this series than OKC's. Ibaka's injury did that to me.
