Great post... We've just been the victim of so many horrible situations that coming out ahead of a "fluke win" like this one is something that I have to ensure actually happened and I'm not dreaming.![]()
Nope. Not at all, but all things considered, statistically, they should have won. Who else wins games with 23 turnovers?
I'm obviously happy we won, but it's hard to believe we won that despite playing so poorly. We have to dominate game 2 if we want to win it, the Heat will be ready.

Does anyone else think that no AC contributed to the Spurs turnovers? I do. In such a big game I've never seen so many unforced turnovers. Tired and heat exhausted players pass poorly and generally just don't react as quickly. For example how many times, do you see a backcourt violation like the one the Spurs committed?
Miami had a large # of turnovers as well.
How many layups did Duncan have? They play very tough perimeter D but that style leads to very easy buckets inside. Tiago even took advantage.
We we got away with some sloppy stuff. Miracle we won.
I agree it wasn't as satisfying as it could have been.
But both teams played under the same conditions.
If our best player had broken his ankle then maybe the result might have been different, injuries happen.
Luck plays a great deal in who wins and who loses.
I thought it was incredibly satisfying. Their guys last year bringing out the ropes in their arena to spur them on... that could have waited as well.
What about Tiago blocking Lebum? they deserved to lose.
Heat had no business winning game 6 either
That must've felt extra good for Tiago considering LeBron's block on him last year.
Quoted. For. Truth.
These vaginal crampers had no business winning game 6 last year. them. Just win baby.![]()
Lol, and you wont see that play on those Finals ads they make for NBA tv, they gotta protect da Im sorry I mean La .
Danny said "let there be a victory" and all was well
I wont feel y unless we win game 2 because they feel all they have to do is win one here. And also, the reason we had so many turnovers is because there D was awesome on our pass happy offense, something I dont think we necessarily figured out.
Lebron missed final 4 minutes it happend i know spurs don't give a . 3 more
Yes. You would've lost if the temperature in the building was normal.
Why are you here? Do you have nothing better to do than hate on the Spurs on a Spurs forum?
Great win! We turned the ball over more than we ever are likely to do in this series and won by 15. I don't know the stats , but I think our rebounding was a big factor in the win.
Yeah because extra heat does nothing to our players, at all.
Not to mention Miami is just as hot as San Antonio... didn't really decide the game.
nope.... Danny got hot
The Heat rely on their starters to play heavy minutes. Obviously, the Heat forced them to rely more on their bench.
I don't know that I've ever heard anyone bring that up but it's something I always thought. WTF were they doing bringing the ropes out?
Anyway, I see the Spurs having 10 or less TO's for Game 2. I actually predicted a loss but I'll take being proven wrong. Take care of the ball!
OP, game was basically tied and we had the ball when LeBron went out. We were also hitting EVERYTHING. LeBron wasn't going to make that big a difference.
Let's not forget we lost Parker for more time in game 6 against the Thunder and we won anyway. There's no excuse.
But yes, we turned it over a ton. It would've been a blowout if we had average turnovers. Truth be told, Miami had no business being that close to us. We dominated that game up and down except for turnovers.
