What it was? ing NBA tv didn't show it.
He answered it well. Straight up. Guy has the right mentality this time. Last year he was happy to be there. Now he is dialed in...
Reporter: Ginobili.... You really struggled last year in the Finals....do you think you redeemed yourself tonight in Game 1 coming out and playing well?
Manu: (Salty) I played a couple of good games...last year. (Pause. Lip smack.). Maybe not really well in the losses. Actually, pretty bad. And it hurt me. Of course. I am very happy to have helped the team win. But at this point we are the exact same spot as last year. We are 1-0. (We have to all come back and play better. All of us.)

Great thread man, posting about something and not telling anyone what you're talking about.
He said he played bad in a couple of losses last year... happy to play well today

You can see it on Spurs.com
That reporter was Westbrook in a wig and lipstick, and she didn't call him Manu, she called him "Ginobili", with a hint of disrespect. Looked like a chimp wearing lipstick tbh.
Edited.
See what the Manu s don't realize is that Skull-1 and I are ecstatic when Manu plays well and helps the team win. We don't give a who plays well or poorly as long as the team wins, and if Manu helps the team win then great. I'm happy for the team.
I agree Manu finally seemed to own some of his bag play from last year's finals and he stepped up tonight. 16 and 11 assists with minimal turnovers when the rest of our team was turning the ball over left and right.
It pisses me off when athletes use blatantly bad grammar in press conferences and interviews. Lebron and Wade are guilty of this, always saying "we was" instead of "we were."
This is another reason why TD should be respected...he speaks like an educated man.
there wouldn't be "Manu s" if we didn't have idiots like you spam the boards with re ed takes and opinions about Manu "never scoring 20 again" or someone thinking Manu owns us anything after what he's done for the organization.
Here they come...clickety clack down the tracks...it's ing Manu s. Big s. Small s. Clinical re s. Slooooooooooow Manu s.
Only this forum es about a half of game shooting guard who puts out a double double.
ing patheticX
All the "uhh's" and "umm's" TD uses when he talks drives me crazy.
Manu had a few dumb turnovers but kept it under wraps and made plays throughout so he is so far so good. Let's go supermanu
She was an attractive black woman. In my opinion. But disrespectful, yes.
Reminds me of a zerObama. I think Pop's leftist bull finally penetrated Tim's common sense.
She (he?) was black, a woman (?), and disrespectful. I agree on those points. And she had balls to ask a tough question. So perhaps she was a man? I saw a mustache.
Implying you don't make salty comments after Manu has a great game.
Salty. The word you use to describe the taste of Manu's semen.
he went to school for 4 years
He finished college
Yeha, I noticed today that in a pregame interview, Wade used "axe" instead of ask. Kind of got to me that a multimillionaire role model well into in his 30s still uses ebonics like a 15 year old kid.
