it's ridiculous, but Duncan doesn't play up the star angle like Kobe or Lebron, so the media doesn't give a about him ultimately. The media loves stars and divas.

Not that I personally know, but I've heard that gay male sex is twice as intense and steamy as straight sex. This could explain the reason for Jim's ability to perform at such a high level under harsh conditions.

Kool, what do you think about the fact that Duncan is having such a great playoff run at age 38, and on the verge of winning another le, tbh?..honest opinion..
You see... this is a perfect example of how you guys distort reality to suit your fictional narrative. Duncan is 37 not 38, but you'll conveniently round up a year to boost Jim's not so legend legendary status. As a Laker fan, when I see you knocking at my back door I simply reach into my treasure chest and decide on which weapon to murder you with. I'll give you Ducan being 38 even though he's not. So let's compare him to Kareem and see how he holds up. At 38 Kareem was averaging 23 points a game while playing 33 minutes. In the playoffs that year he upped his game to 26 points per game all while playing 35 minutes. Although he didn't win a le that year... he did go on to win back2back the following years.

Now... as I search for Duncan's stats at age 38 I can't find any... so we'll just have to settle for his age 37 stats... ok? At age 37 Duncan averaged 15 points all while playing 29 minutes. In the playoffs he has averaged 16 points all while playing 32 minutes. Now... I know you asked Kool for his opinion on how great Duncan is playing at an age he's yet to reach... but I'll give you my opinion. For a guy that I thought would be in a retirement home just a few years ago I think he's playing well for today's standard of basketball. But when compared against the best he's just barely recognizable.

The media is smart. They know all they have to do is repeat over and over again and it becomes reality to people who refuse to do research. Notice how today's mantra is "Kobe is ed no matter who wins this year." Why would Kobe be threatened by a that he dominated in his prime and a that choked to get there to face him when he had the chance. The media never mentions Kobe vs Duncan head to head... with or without Shaq. The media never mentions how Lebron failed to meet Kobe in the finals two straight years after winning the most games in the regular season. Yet those same nerds vote Lebron the MVP award while Kobe wins the les. ... they even had commercials with the two, but Lebron never showed up. Lebron is a joke homie... and Duncan is great only when you keep it in perspective. This is why they always say he's the best PF of all time, but never the best big man. They won't dare enter that territory.

    Head-to-head records

Kobe's 0-1 against Dirk and 1-2 against Steve Nash.

    So...

Kobe's ed no matter who wins. Either Tim ties him in ring count or James becomes the 1st perimeter player since Jordan to lead his team to a 3 peat. Also, a Finals win puts James ahead 1 in the Finals MVP count.

Unless Kirby returns with a deep playoff run in the next few years, he'll become an afterthought.

It's the only stat Luva knows

He's old school, an antique. Like Kobe's game in the modern NBA. Even Rick Carlisle stated that "slow play=death" in today's NBA. Defenses have become too sophisticated. Kobe 25 times in the post is a relic of a bygone era, and if the Lakers still think they can build around that, they're in for a rude awakening. Luva will cite the repeat, but 09/10 is essentially 100 years ago. The NBA's changed in spades since then.

Where was those s in Kobe's prime? They were apart of the same era. Leave it to you to bring up two players that arent even in the discussion of all-time greats. Zeke is 3-1 against Jordan.... which is basically your argument. Kick rocks, lil .

    Beating him

You realize Nash is 2-0 against Kobe in his "prime?"

Kobe blew a 3-1 lead against Nash in '06, the same year he had that meaningless 81 point game. The next year, they were talking up Kobe again, and he lost 4-1 to Nash this time.

And if you play the supporting cast card, there's games in that series where Smush Parker and Kwame Brown had better performances than Kobe
