Let's not overlook the fact that Miami outshot the Spurs from the field, 53% to 44%. That is a significant difference.

But still, those 4 missed free throws were the difference. ing amazing. I knew that was the turning point in the game - but it should have been the turning point in our favor if we had made the FTs.

Agreed! refs bailed these es out all night! No calls for us! Allowing those es to hack & grab all night! No calls for the spurs! ing rigged game!
So the refs forced the Spurs to miss four free-throws? So the refs forced the Spurs to leave Lebron wide open when he got hot? Any player in the NBA can get hot; someone needs to guard better. The NBA sucks anyway compared to even a few years ago. Do you think Jordan's Bulls lose this game?

absolute trash. Man, danny ing crawford and his crew spoiled the out of this game. An embarrassment for the league.
They're never embarrassed - they just keep insisting everything is fine. The refs were determined to have Miami win tonight, and they totally disrupted the Spurs rotations and rhythm.

I hope this ends the Diaw-on-James experiment. It only worked in one game (Game Five of last year's Finals). Pop needs to stop going to that and let Green guard him already.

I did not have the best view from my DVR watching on computer that I had to do, but it seemed we got the shaft. Wade fakes getting hit HORRIBLY and that's a costly Manu foul. Manu get hit in the face, then did he fall down or get clobbered and fall? I think that was right before he winged the awful pass to Duncan for the TO.

Overall we need a better gameplan and hopefully we will get as biased of a game reffed our way in Miiami (we can only hope).

At you pussies who think the Spurs can't win in Miami. They won Game 1 there last year, and they should have won Game 6 as well (As we all know). It's not like the Spurs have lost 9 or 10 straight there like they did against OKC. And yet the Spurs CLOSED out a series IN OKC. If the Spurs can win in OKC, they can win anywhere.

We more than deserve to lose this game.

Tim and Tony shouldn't be such weak-minded s about freethrows. That's what they get.

    Good job, Heat.
I totally agree! Momentum and the home crowd firmly behind you and both out superstars miss four straight free throws. We didn't deserve this game at all

Miami role players were 12-28, Spurs role players were 14-38. Lebron went off, Spurs were re ed and choked a bit.

Heat responded to 35 Spurs points in 3rd quater. That was huge. Usually it was 35-22, when Spurs made big run

Manu horrible 3 from half court-bad shot
    Manu fouls LBJ-Leonard fouls out
    Manu bad pass to TD-TO
    Manu bad jumper-missed shot

    Their MVP came up big.
I think the rest of the team helped with 4 straight missed free throws. Duncan not catching a very catch-able pass that he didn't even look like he was expecting. Parker playing hero ball and getting stripped with 0.8 left on the shot clock. Duncan for some reason over-playing Bosh 20+ feet from the rim and getting burnt on defense as Bosh dribbles around him like he's directing traffic delivering the dagger pass to Wade.

lol Boris pump fake drives down by 5 with 8 seconds left... what
Boris frustrated me to no end. He passed up way too many shots. He needs to be our floor spreading 4 out there, but he passed up shots. He's currently doing the same thing as he did last season in the finals. If he can live with his gutless play, afraid to shoot the 3 ball, then so be it. I couldn't if I was him.

It's kind of alarming to think we could be down 0-2 right now if not for the cramp heard around the world. I mean, we clearly look like the better team after these two games but it just goes to show how much the team pisses away opportunities to the Heat. TD has the numbers but those missed free throws from him were huge and you don't expect that from someone who basically guaranteed the championship. You don't give a two-time champion free opportunities like that.

Those free throws definitely killed us, but I'm still 100% confident were the better team and we will get at least 1 in Miami. It really took lebrons best jump shooting in a while to get that win, and I doubt we see that again. Granted you could expect some role players to show up more in Miami, but Rashard killed us tonight and we still overcame that. As long as we show up, and I expect pop to really get in this team over the next few days, we'll be fine. 1-1 isn't a problem, let's just get game 3

Not really amazing. Heat make championship plays, we don't. That's why they're gonna 3 peat.

The swipe by Lebron on Parker at 1:48 in the 4th (i think) was clearly a foul. You could see Lebron admitting it by tapping is chest as if to say my bad. Then stupid refs saying last touch Heat. Refs reviewed the replay and it's clear the ball touched Parker on the replay and Lebron clearing almost breaking off Parker's hands!! Only way the refs to correct the call was to give the ball back to Spurs. NBA should start suspending refs for missing calls.

Agree with this. Diaw doesn't have the mobility and quickness to guard Lebron. Wouldn't mind seeing him post up James though. Diaw has the size advantage there.

They just do a great job if taking you out of your offensive rhythm. Danny green def needs to see more playing time.

lol, after I post this, I bet most of you have crawled into the fetal position already and have given up on the whole ing series. ing worthless fans.[/QUOTE

I agree. Spurs made some mistakes, but the Heat hit some pretty lucky shots and they had a ton of help from the refs tonight. Anyone who says the series is over needs to get off this forum and NEVER come back.

Miami was horrible to watch on offense actually. James just sitting there holding the ball as the shot clock winds down, then he's hot so he hits it. That's not basketball, it's not even fun to watch.

No wonder everyone hates James, LOL.
